CVE-2024-38357 | 1 Tinymce | 1 Tinymce | 2025-07-13 | 6.1 Medium |
TinyMCE is an open source rich text editor. A cross-site scripting (XSS) vulnerability was discovered in TinyMCE’s content parsing code. This allowed specially crafted noscript elements containing malicious code to be executed when that content was loaded into the editor. This vulnerability has been patched in TinyMCE 7.2.0, TinyMCE 6.8.4 and TinyMCE 5.11.0 LTS by ensuring that content within noscript elements are properly parsed. Users are advised to upgrade. There are no known workarounds for this vulnerability.
CVE-2024-38356 | 1 Tinymce | 1 Tinymce | 2025-07-12 | 6.1 Medium |
TinyMCE is an open source rich text editor. A cross-site scripting (XSS) vulnerability was discovered in TinyMCE’s content extraction code. When using the `noneditable_regexp` option, specially crafted HTML attributes containing malicious code were able to be executed when content was extracted from the editor. This vulnerability has been patched in TinyMCE 7.2.0, TinyMCE 6.8.4 and TinyMCE 5.11.0 LTS by ensuring that, when using the `noneditable_regexp` option, any content within an attribute is properly verified to match the configured regular expression before being added. Users are advised to upgrade. There are no known workarounds for this vulnerability.
CVE-2012-4230 | 1 Tinymce | 1 Tinymce | 2025-04-12 | N/A |
The bbcode plugin in TinyMCE 3.5.8 does not properly enforce the TinyMCE security policy for the (1) encoding directive and (2) valid_elements attribute, which allows attackers to conduct cross-site scripting (XSS) attacks via application-specific vectors, as demonstrated using a textarea element.
CVE-2014-3844 | 2 Tinymce, Wordpress | 2 Color Picker, Wordpress | 2025-04-12 | N/A |
The TinyMCE Color Picker plugin before 1.2 for WordPress does not properly check permissions, which allows remote attackers to modify plugin settings via unspecified vectors. NOTE: some of these details are obtained from third party information.

CVE-2024-29881 | 1 Tinymce | 1 Tinymce | 2024-11-21 | 4.3 Medium |
TinyMCE is an open source rich text editor. A cross-site scripting (XSS) vulnerability was discovered in TinyMCE’s content loading and content inserting code. CVE-2024-29203 | 1 Tinymce | 1 Tinymce | 2024-11-21 | 4.3 Medium |
TinyMCE is an open source rich text editor. A cross-site scripting (XSS) vulnerability was discovered in TinyMCE’s content insertion code.
