| In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: fs: Fix uninitialized value issue in from_kuid and from_kgid ocfs2_setattr() uses attr->ia_mode, attr->ia_uid and attr->ia_gid in a trace point even though ATTR_MODE, ATTR_UID and ATTR_GID aren't set. Initialize all fields of newattrs to avoid uninitialized variables, by checking if ATTR_MODE, ATTR_UID, ATTR_GID are initialized, otherwise 0. | ||||

| In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: xfs: fix finding a last resort AG in xfs_filestream_pick_ag When the main loop in xfs_filestream_pick_ag fails to find a suitable AG it tries to just pick the online AG. But the loop for that uses args->pag as loop iterator while the later code expects pag to be set. Fix this by reusing the max_pag case for this last resort, and also add a check for impossible case of no AG just to make sure that the uninitialized pag doesn't even escape in theory. | ||||

| In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: drm/xe: Check pat.ops before dumping PAT settings We may leave pat.ops unset when running on brand new platform or when running as a VF. While the former is unlikely, the latter is valid (future) use case and will cause NPD when someone will try to dump PAT settings by debugfs. It's better to check pointer to pat.ops instead of specific .dump hook, as we have this hook always defined for every .ops variant. | ||||

| In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: ASoC: mediatek: mt8195: Add platform entry for ETDM1_OUT_BE dai link Commit e70b8dd26711 ("ASoC: mediatek: mt8195: Remove afe-dai component and rework codec link") removed the codec entry for the ETDM1_OUT_BE dai link entirely instead of replacing it with COMP_EMPTY(). This worked by accident as the remaining COMP_EMPTY() platform entry became the codec entry, and the platform entry became completely empty, effectively the same as COMP_DUMMY() since snd_soc_fill_dummy_dai() doesn't do anything for platform entries. This causes a KASAN out-of-bounds warning in mtk_soundcard_common_probe() in sound/soc/mediatek/common/mtk-soundcard-driver.c: for_each_card_prelinks(card, i, dai_link) { if (adsp_node && !strncmp(dai_link->name, "AFE_SOF", strlen("AFE_SOF"))) dai_link->platforms->of_node = adsp_node; else if (!dai_link->platforms->name && !dai_link->platforms->of_node) dai_link->platforms->of_node = platform_node; } where the code expects the platforms array to have space for at least one entry. Add an COMP_EMPTY() entry so that dai_link->platforms has space. | ||||

| In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: nfsd: initialise nfsd_info.mutex early. nfsd_info.mutex can be dereferenced by svc_pool_stats_start() immediately after the new netns is created. Currently this can trigger an oops. Move the initialisation earlier before it can possibly be dereferenced. | ||||
