CVE-2026-28691 1 Imagemagick 1 Imagemagick 2026-04-18 7.5 High
ImageMagick is free and open-source software used for editing and manipulating digital images. Prior to versions 7.1.2-16 and 6.9.13-41, an uninitialized pointer dereference vulnerability exists in the JBIG decoder due to a missing check. This vulnerability is fixed in 7.1.2-16 and 6.9.13-41.
CVE-2026-31428 1 Linux 1 Linux Kernel 2026-04-18 5.5 Medium
In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: netfilter: nfnetlink_log: fix uninitialized padding leak in NFULA_PAYLOAD __build_packet_message() manually constructs the NFULA_PAYLOAD netlink attribute using skb_put() and skb_copy_bits(), bypassing the standard nla_reserve()/nla_put() helpers. While nla_total_size(data_len) bytes are allocated (including NLA alignment padding), only data_len bytes of actual packet data are copied. The trailing nla_padlen(data_len) bytes (1-3 when data_len is not 4-byte aligned) are never initialized, leaking stale heap contents to userspace via the NFLOG netlink socket. Replace the manual attribute construction with nla_reserve(), which handles the tailroom check, header setup, and padding zeroing via __nla_reserve(). The subsequent skb_copy_bits() fills in the payload data on top of the properly initialized attribute.
CVE-2026-31427 1 Linux 1 Linux Kernel 2026-04-18 5.8 Medium
In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: netfilter: nf_conntrack_sip: fix use of uninitialized rtp_addr in process_sdp process_sdp() declares union nf_inet_addr rtp_addr on the stack and passes it to the nf_nat_sip sdp_session hook after walking the SDP media descriptions. However rtp_addr is only initialized inside the media loop when a recognized media type with a non-zero port is found. If the SDP body contains no m= lines, only inactive media sections (m=audio 0 ...) or only unrecognized media types, rtp_addr is never assigned. Despite that, the function still calls hooks->sdp_session() with &rtp_addr, causing nf_nat_sdp_session() to format the stale stack value as an IP address and rewrite the SDP session owner and connection lines with it. With CONFIG_INIT_STACK_ALL_ZERO (default on most distributions) this results in the session-level o= and c= addresses being rewritten to 0.0.0.0 for inactive SDP sessions. Without stack auto-init the rewritten address is whatever happened to be on the stack. Fix this by pre-initializing rtp_addr from the session-level connection address (caddr) when available, and tracking via a have_rtp_addr flag whether any valid address was established. Skip the sdp_session hook entirely when no valid address exists.
CVE-2026-23381 1 Linux 1 Linux Kernel 2026-04-18 5.5 Medium
In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: net: bridge: fix nd_tbl NULL dereference when IPv6 is disabled When booting with the 'ipv6.disable=1' parameter, the nd_tbl is never initialized because inet6_init() exits before ndisc_init() is called which initializes it. Then, if neigh_suppress is enabled and an ICMPv6 Neighbor Discovery packet reaches the bridge, br_do_suppress_nd() will dereference ipv6_stub->nd_tbl which is NULL, passing it to neigh_lookup(). This causes a kernel NULL pointer dereference. BUG: kernel NULL pointer dereference, address: 0000000000000268 Oops: 0000 [#1] PREEMPT SMP NOPTI [...] RIP: 0010:neigh_lookup+0x16/0xe0 [...] Call Trace: <IRQ> ? neigh_lookup+0x16/0xe0 br_do_suppress_nd+0x160/0x290 [bridge] br_handle_frame_finish+0x500/0x620 [bridge] br_handle_frame+0x353/0x440 [bridge] __netif_receive_skb_core.constprop.0+0x298/0x1110 __netif_receive_skb_one_core+0x3d/0xa0 process_backlog+0xa0/0x140 __napi_poll+0x2c/0x170 net_rx_action+0x2c4/0x3a0 handle_softirqs+0xd0/0x270 do_softirq+0x3f/0x60 Fix this by replacing IS_ENABLED(IPV6) call with ipv6_mod_enabled() in the callers. This is in essence disabling NS/NA suppression when IPv6 is disabled.
CVE-2026-23367 1 Linux 1 Linux Kernel 2026-04-18 5.5 Medium
In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: wifi: radiotap: reject radiotap with unknown bits The radiotap parser is currently only used with the radiotap namespace (not with vendor namespaces), but if the undefined field 18 is used, the alignment/size is unknown as well. In this case, iterator->_next_ns_data isn't initialized (it's only set for skipping vendor namespaces), and syzbot points out that we later compare against this uninitialized value. Fix this by moving the rejection of unknown radiotap fields down to after the in-namespace lookup, so it will really use iterator->_next_ns_data only for vendor namespaces, even in case undefined fields are present.
CVE-2026-23293 1 Linux 1 Linux Kernel 2026-04-18 5.5 Medium
In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: net: vxlan: fix nd_tbl NULL dereference when IPv6 is disabled When booting with the 'ipv6.disable=1' parameter, the nd_tbl is never initialized because inet6_init() exits before ndisc_init() is called which initializes it. If an IPv6 packet is injected into the interface, route_shortcircuit() is called and a NULL pointer dereference happens on neigh_lookup(). BUG: kernel NULL pointer dereference, address: 0000000000000380 Oops: Oops: 0000 [#1] SMP NOPTI [...] RIP: 0010:neigh_lookup+0x20/0x270 [...] Call Trace: <TASK> vxlan_xmit+0x638/0x1ef0 [vxlan] dev_hard_start_xmit+0x9e/0x2e0 __dev_queue_xmit+0xbee/0x14e0 packet_sendmsg+0x116f/0x1930 __sys_sendto+0x1f5/0x200 __x64_sys_sendto+0x24/0x30 do_syscall_64+0x12f/0x1590 entry_SYSCALL_64_after_hwframe+0x76/0x7e Fix this by adding an early check on route_shortcircuit() when protocol is ETH_P_IPV6. Note that ipv6_mod_enabled() cannot be used here because VXLAN can be built-in even when IPv6 is built as a module.

CVE-2026-23761 2 Twistedmatrix, Vb-audio Software 6 Twistedweb, Matrix, Matrix Coconut and 3 more 2026-04-18 N/A
VB-Audio Voicemeeter, Voicemeeter Banana, and Voicemeeter Potato (versions ending in 1.1.1.9, 2.1.1.9, and 3.1.1.9 and earlier, respectively), as well as VB-Audio Matrix and Matrix Coconut (versions ending in 1.0.2.2 and 2.0.2.2 and earlier, respectively), contain a vulnerability in their virtual audio drivers (vbvoicemeetervaio64*.sys, vbmatrixvaio64*.sys, vbaudio_vmauxvaio*.sys, vbaudio_vmvaio*.sys, and vbaudio_vmvaio3*.sys). When a handle is opened with a special file attribute value, the drivers improperly initialize FILE_OBJECT->FsContext to a non-pointer magic value. If subsequent operations are not handled by the VB-Audio driver and are forwarded down the audio driver stack (e.g., via PortCls to ks.sys), the invalid FsContext value can be dereferenced, causing a kernel crash (BSoD), typically SYSTEM_SERVICE_EXCEPTION with STATUS_ACCESS_VIOLATION. This flaw allows a local unprivileged user to trigger a denial-of-service on affected Windows systems.
CVE-2026-1200 2026-04-17 6.3 Medium
A flaw was found in the rgaufman/live555 fork of live555. A remote attacker could exploit a segmentation fault, in the `increaseBufferTo` function. This vulnerability can lead to memory corruption problems and potentially other consequences.
CVE-2026-26958 1 Filosottile 1 Filippo.io/edwards25519 2026-04-17 3.7 Low
filippo.io/edwards25519 is a Go library implementing the edwards25519 elliptic curve with APIs for building cryptographic primitives. In versions 1.1.0 and earlier, MultiScalarMult produces invalid results or undefined behavior if the receiver is not the identity point. If (*Point).MultiScalarMult is called on an initialized point that is not the identity point, it returns an incorrect result. If the method is called on an uninitialized point, the behavior is undefined. In particular, if the receiver is the zero value, MultiScalarMult returns an invalid point that compares Equal to every other point. Note that MultiScalarMult is a rarely used, advanced API. For example, users who depend on filippo.io/edwards25519 only through github.com/go-sql-driver/mysql are not affected. This issue has been fixed in version 1.1.1.
CVE-2026-6311 2 Google, Microsoft 2 Chrome, Windows 2026-04-17 8.3 High
Uninitialized Use in Accessibility in Google Chrome on Windows prior to 147.0.7727.101 allowed a remote attacker who had compromised the renderer process to potentially perform a sandbox escape via a crafted HTML page. (Chromium security severity: High)
CVE-2026-3497 1 Ubuntu 1 Openssh 2026-04-16 8.2 High
Vulnerability in the OpenSSH GSSAPI delta included in various Linux distributions. This vulnerability affects the GSSAPI patches added by various Linux distributions and does not affect the OpenSSH upstream project itself. The usage of sshpkt_disconnect() on an error, which does not terminate the process, allows an attacker to send an unexpected GSSAPI message type during the GSSAPI key exchange to the server, which will call the underlying function and continue the execution of the program without setting the related connection variables. As the variables are not initialized to NULL the code later accesses those uninitialized variables, accessing random memory, which could lead to undefined behavior. The recommended workaround is to use ssh_packet_disconnect() instead, which does terminate the process. The impact of the vulnerability depends heavily on the compiler flag hardening configuration.
