Directory traversal vulnerability in actionpack/lib/abstract_controller/base.rb in the implicit-render implementation in Ruby on Rails before 3.2.18, 4.0.x before 4.0.5, and 4.1.x before 4.1.1, when certain route globbing configurations are enabled, allows remote attackers to read arbitrary files via a crafted request.
CVE-2016-0752 | 5 Debian, Opensuse, Redhat and 2 more | 7 Debian Linux, Leap, Opensuse and 4 more | 2025-07-30 | 7.5 High |
Directory traversal vulnerability in Action View in Ruby on Rails before 3.2.22.1, 4.0.x and 4.1.x before 4.1.14.1, 4.2.x before 4.2.5.1, and 5.x before 5.0.0.beta1.1 allows remote attackers to read arbitrary files by leveraging an application's unrestricted use of the render method and providing a .. (dot dot) in a pathname.
CVE-2019-5418 | 5 Debian, Fedoraproject, Opensuse and 2 more | 8 Debian Linux, Fedora, Leap and 5 more | 2025-07-30 | 7.5 High |
There is a File Content Disclosure vulnerability in Action View <5.2.2.1, <5.1.6.2, <5.0.7.2, <4.2.11.1 and v3 where specially crafted accept headers can cause contents of arbitrary files on the target system's filesystem to be exposed.
CVE-2019-0211 | 8 Apache, Canonical, Debian and 5 more | 28 Http Server, Ubuntu Linux, Debian Linux and 25 more | 2025-07-30 | 7.8 High |
In Apache HTTP Server 2.4 releases 2.4.17 to 2.4.38, with MPM event, worker or prefork, code executing in less-privileged child processes or threads (including scripts executed by an in-process scripting interpreter) could execute arbitrary code with the privileges of the parent process (usually root) by manipulating the scoreboard. Non-Unix systems are not affected.
CVE-2019-11043 | 6 Canonical, Debian, Fedoraproject and 3 more | 26 Ubuntu Linux, Debian Linux, Fedora and 23 more | 2025-07-30 | 8.7 High |
In PHP versions 7.1.x below 7.1.33, 7.2.x below 7.2.24 and 7.3.x below 7.3.11 in certain configurations of FPM setup it is possible to cause FPM module to write past allocated buffers into the space reserved for FCGI protocol data, thus opening the possibility of remote code execution.
CVE-2021-40438 | 11 Apache, Broadcom, Debian and 8 more | 45 Http Server, Brocade Fabric Operating System Firmware, Debian Linux and 42 more | 2025-07-30 | 9 Critical |
A crafted request uri-path can cause mod_proxy to forward the request to an origin server choosen by the remote user. This issue affects Apache HTTP Server 2.4.48 and earlier.
CVE-2023-44487 | 32 Akka, Amazon, Apache and 29 more | 367 Http Server, Opensearch Data Prepper, Apisix and 364 more | 2025-07-30 | 7.5 High |
The HTTP/2 protocol allows a denial of service (server resource consumption) because request cancellation can reset many streams quickly, as exploited in the wild in August through October 2023.
CVE-2024-1394 | 1 Redhat | 23 Ansible Automation Platform, Ansible Automation Platform Developer, Ansible Automation Platform Inside and 20 more | 2025-07-23 | 7.5 High |
A memory leak flaw was found in Golang in the RSA encrypting/decrypting code, which might lead to a resource exhaustion vulnerability using attacker-controlled inputs. The memory leak happens in github.com/golang-fips/openssl/openssl/rsa.go#L113. The objects leaked are pkey and ctx. That function uses named return parameters to free pkey and ctx if there is an error initializing the context or setting the different properties. All return statements related to error cases follow the "return nil, nil, fail(...)" pattern, meaning that pkey and ctx will be nil inside the deferred function that should free them.
CVE-2023-39417 | 3 Debian, Postgresql, Redhat | 10 Debian Linux, Postgresql, Advanced Cluster Security and 7 more | 2025-07-09 | 7.5 High |
IN THE EXTENSION SCRIPT, a SQL Injection vulnerability was found in PostgreSQL if it uses @extowner@, @extschema@, or @extschema:...@ inside a quoting construct (dollar quoting, '', or ""). If an administrator has installed files of a vulnerable, trusted, non-bundled extension, an attacker with database-level CREATE privilege can execute arbitrary code as the bootstrap superuser.
CVE-2022-23302 | 6 Apache, Broadcom, Netapp and 3 more | 44 Log4j, Brocade Sannav, Snapmanager and 41 more | 2025-07-07 | 8.8 High |
JMSSink in all versions of Log4j 1.x is vulnerable to deserialization of untrusted data when the attacker has write access to the Log4j configuration or if the configuration references an LDAP service the attacker has access to. The attacker can provide a TopicConnectionFactoryBindingName configuration causing JMSSink to perform JNDI requests that result in remote code execution in a similar fashion to CVE-2021-4104. Note this issue only affects Log4j 1.x when specifically configured to use JMSSink, which is not the default. Apache Log4j 1.2 reached end of life in August 2015. Users should upgrade to Log4j 2 as it addresses numerous other issues from the previous versions.

CVE-2024-0985 | 2 Postgresql, Redhat | 7 Postgresql, Enterprise Linux, Rhel Aus and 4 more | 2025-06-13 | 8 High |
Late privilege drop in REFRESH MATERIALIZED VIEW CONCURRENTLY in PostgreSQL allows an object creator to execute arbitrary SQL functions as the command issuer. The command intends to run SQL functions as the owner of the materialized view, enabling safe refresh of untrusted materialized views. The victim is a superuser or member of one of the attacker's roles. The attack requires luring the victim into running REFRESH MATERIALIZED VIEW CONCURRENTLY on the attacker's materialized view. Versions before PostgreSQL 16.2, 15.6, 14.11, 13.14, and 12.18 are affected.

CVE-2020-11080 | 7 Debian, Fedoraproject, Nghttp2 and 4 more | 16 Debian Linux, Fedora, Nghttp2 and 13 more | 2025-06-09 | 3.7 Low |
In nghttp2 before version 1.41.0, the overly large HTTP/2 SETTINGS frame payload causes denial of service. The proof of concept attack involves a malicious client constructing a SETTINGS frame with a length of 14,400 bytes (2400 individual settings entries) over and over again. The attack causes the CPU to spike at 100%. nghttp2 v1.41.0 fixes this vulnerability. There is a workaround to this vulnerability. Implement nghttp2_on_frame_recv_callback callback, and if received frame is SETTINGS frame and the number of settings entries are large (e.g., > 32), then drop the connection. |
