CVE-2023-45896 1 Linux 1 Linux Kernel 2025-07-13 7.1 High
ntfs3 in the Linux kernel through 6.8.0 allows a physically proximate attacker to read kernel memory by mounting a filesystem (e.g., if a Linux distribution is configured to allow unprivileged mounts of removable media) and then leveraging local access to trigger an out-of-bounds read. A length value can be larger than the amount of memory allocated. NOTE: the supplier's perspective is that there is no vulnerability when an attack requires an attacker-modified filesystem image.
CVE-2024-13948 1 Abb 3 Aspect Enterprise, Matrix Series, Nexus Series 2025-07-13 7.3 High
Windows permissions for ASPECT configuration toolsets are not fully secured allow-ing exposure of configuration informationThis issue affects ASPECT-Enterprise: through 3.*; NEXUS Series: through 3.*; MATRIX Series: through 3.*.
CVE-2024-4030 1 Python 1 Cpython 2025-07-12 7.1 High
On Windows a directory returned by tempfile.mkdtemp() would not always have permissions set to restrict reading and writing to the temporary directory by other users, instead usually inheriting the correct permissions from the default location. Alternate configurations or users without a profile directory may not have the intended permissions. If you’re not using Windows or haven’t changed the temporary directory location then you aren’t affected by this vulnerability. On other platforms the returned directory is consistently readable and writable only by the current user. This issue was caused by Python not supporting Unix permissions on Windows. The fix adds support for Unix “700” for the mkdir function on Windows which is used by mkdtemp() to ensure the newly created directory has the proper permissions.
CVE-2024-6640 1 Freebsd 1 Freebsd 2025-07-12 6.3 Medium
In ICMPv6 Neighbor Discovery (ND), the ID is always 0. When pf is configured to allow ND and block incoming Echo Requests, a crafted Echo Request packet after a Neighbor Solicitation (NS) can trigger an Echo Reply. The packet has to come from the same host as the NS and have a zero as identifier to match the state created by the Neighbor Discovery and allow replies to be generated. ICMPv6 packets with identifier value of zero bypass firewall rules written on the assumption that the incoming packets are going to create a state in the state table.
CVE-2024-46466 1 Primx 1 Zonecentral 2025-07-12 7.8 High
By default, dedicated folders of ZONECENTRAL for Windows up to 2024.3 or up to Q.2021.2 (ANSSI qualification submission) can be accessed by other users to misuse technical files and make them perform tasks with higher privileges. Configuration of ZONECENTRAL has to be modified to prevent this vulnerability.
CVE-2024-1605 1 Bmc 1 Control-m 2025-07-12 6.6 Medium
BMC Control-M branches 9.0.20 and 9.0.21 upon user login load all Dynamic Link Libraries (DLL) from a directory that grants Write and Read permissions to all users. Leveraging it leads to loading of a potentially malicious libraries, which will execute with the application's privileges. Fix for 9.0.20 branch was released in version 9.0.20.238. Fix for 9.0.21 branch was released in version 9.0.21.201.
CVE-2024-39544 1 Juniper Networks 1 Junos Os Evolved 2025-07-12 5 Medium
An Incorrect Default Permissions vulnerability in the command line interface (CLI) of Juniper Networks Junos OS Evolved allows a low privileged local attacker to view NETCONF traceoptions files, representing an exposure of sensitive information. On all Junos OS Evolved platforms, when NETCONF traceoptions are configured, NETCONF traceoptions files get created with an incorrect group permission, which allows a low-privileged user can access sensitive information compromising the confidentiality of the system. Junos OS Evolved:  * All versions before 20.4R3-S9-EVO,  * 21.2-EVO before 21.2R3-S7-EVO,  * 21.4-EVO before 21.4R3-S5-EVO,  * 22.1-EVO before 22.1R3-S5-EVO,  * 22.2-EVO before 22.2R3-S3-EVO,  * 22.3-EVO before 22.3R3-EVO, 22.3R3-S2-EVO,  * 22.4-EVO before 22.4R3-EVO,  * 23.2-EVO before 23.2R1-S2-EVO, 23.2R2-EVO.
CVE-2025-24914 1 Tenable 1 Nessus 2025-07-12 7.8 High
When installing Nessus to a non-default location on a Windows host, Nessus versions prior to 10.8.4 did not enforce secure permissions for sub-directories. This could allow for local privilege escalation if users had not secured the directories in the non-default installation location. - CVE-2025-24914
CVE-2025-24915 1 Tenable 1 Nessus Agent 2025-07-12 7.8 High
When installing Nessus Agent to a non-default location on a Windows host, Nessus Agent versions prior to 10.8.3 did not enforce secure permissions for sub-directories.  This could allow for local privilege escalation if users had not secured the directories in the non-default installation location.
CVE-2018-9434 1 Google 1 Android 2025-07-10 7.8 High
In multiple functions of Parcel.cpp, there is a possible way to bypass address space layout randomization. This could lead to local escalation of privilege with no additional execution privileges needed. User interaction is not needed for exploitation.
CVE-2018-9401 1 Google 1 Android 2025-07-10 7.8 High
In many locations, there is a possible way to access kernel memory in user space due to an incorrect bounds check. This could lead to local escalation of privilege with no additional execution privileges needed. User interaction is not needed for exploitation.
CVE-2024-46544 3 Apache, Debian, Redhat 6 Tomcat Connectors, Debian Linux, Enterprise Linux and 3 more 2025-07-10 5.9 Medium
Incorrect Default Permissions vulnerability in Apache Tomcat Connectors allows local users to view and modify shared memory containing mod_jk configuration which may lead to information disclosure and/or denial of service. This issue affects Apache Tomcat Connectors: from 1.2.9-beta through 1.2.49. Only mod_jk on Unix like systems is affected. Neither the ISAPI redirector nor mod_jk on Windows is affected. Users are recommended to upgrade to version 1.2.50, which fixes the issue.
CVE-2025-29801 1 Microsoft 1 Autoupdate 2025-07-10 7.8 High
Incorrect default permissions in Microsoft AutoUpdate (MAU) allows an authorized attacker to elevate privileges locally.
CVE-2024-39924 2 Dani-garcia, Vaultwarden 2 Vaultwarden, Vaultwarden 2025-07-10 8.8 High
An issue was discovered in Vaultwarden (formerly Bitwarden_RS) 1.30.3. A vulnerability has been identified in the authentication and authorization process of the endpoint responsible for altering the metadata of an emergency access. It permits an attacker with granted emergency access to escalate their privileges by changing the access level and modifying the wait time. Consequently, the attacker can gain full control over the vault (when only intended to have read access) while bypassing the necessary wait period.
CVE-2025-52900 1 Filebrowser 1 Filebrowser 2025-07-10 5.5 Medium
File Browser provides a file managing interface within a specified directory and it can be used to upload, delete, preview, rename and edit files. The file access permissions for files uploaded to or created from File Browser are never explicitly set by the application. The same is true for the database used by File Browser. On standard servers using File Browser prior to version 2.33.7 where the umask configuration has not been hardened before, this makes all the stated files readable by any operating system account. Version 2.33.7 fixes the issue.
