CVE-2019-9917 | 3 Canonical, Fedoraproject, Znc | 3 Ubuntu Linux, Fedora, Znc | 2024-11-21 | N/A |
ZNC before 1.7.3-rc1 allows an existing remote user to cause a Denial of Service (crash) via invalid encoding.
CVE-2019-9901 | 2 Envoyproxy, Redhat | 2 Envoy, Service Mesh | 2024-11-21 | N/A |
Envoy 1.9.0 and before does not normalize HTTP URL paths. A remote attacker may craft a relative path, e.g., something/../admin, to bypass access control, e.g., a block on /admin. A backend server could then interpret the non-normalized path and provide an attacker access beyond the scope provided for by the access control policy.
CVE-2019-9900 | 2 Envoyproxy, Redhat | 3 Envoy, Openshift Service Mesh, Service Mesh | 2024-11-21 | 8.3 High |
When parsing HTTP/1.x header values, Envoy 1.9.0 and before does not reject embedded zero characters (NUL, ASCII 0x0). This allows remote attackers crafting header values containing embedded NUL characters to potentially bypass header matching rules, gaining access to unauthorized resources.
CVE-2019-9851 | 6 Canonical, Debian, Fedoraproject and 3 more | 6 Ubuntu Linux, Debian Linux, Fedora and 3 more | 2024-11-21 | 9.8 Critical |
LibreOffice is typically bundled with LibreLogo, a programmable turtle vector graphics script, which can execute arbitrary python commands contained with the document it is launched from. Protection was added, to address CVE-2019-9848, to block calling LibreLogo from document event script handers, e.g. mouse over. However LibreOffice also has a separate feature where documents can specify that pre-installed scripts can be executed on various global script events such as document-open, etc. In the fixed versions, global script event handlers are validated equivalently to document script event handlers. This issue affects: Document Foundation LibreOffice versions prior to 6.2.6.
CVE-2019-9850 | 6 Canonical, Debian, Fedoraproject and 3 more | 6 Ubuntu Linux, Debian Linux, Fedora and 3 more | 2024-11-21 | 9.8 Critical |
LibreOffice is typically bundled with LibreLogo, a programmable turtle vector graphics script, which can execute arbitrary python commands contained with the document it is launched from. LibreOffice also has a feature where documents can specify that pre-installed scripts can be executed on various document script events such as mouse-over, etc. Protection was added, to address CVE-2019-9848, to block calling LibreLogo from script event handers. However an insufficient url validation vulnerability in LibreOffice allowed malicious to bypass that protection and again trigger calling LibreLogo from script event handlers. This issue affects: Document Foundation LibreOffice versions prior to 6.2.6.
CVE-2019-9848 | 6 Canonical, Debian, Fedoraproject and 3 more | 6 Ubuntu Linux, Debian Linux, Fedora and 3 more | 2024-11-21 | 9.8 Critical |
LibreOffice has a feature where documents can specify that pre-installed scripts can be executed on various document events such as mouse-over, etc. LibreOffice is typically also bundled with LibreLogo, a programmable turtle vector graphics script, which can be manipulated into executing arbitrary python commands. By using the document event feature to trigger LibreLogo to execute python contained within a document a malicious document could be constructed which would execute arbitrary python commands silently without warning. In the fixed versions, LibreLogo cannot be called from a document event handler. This issue affects: Document Foundation LibreOffice versions prior to 6.2.5.
CVE-2019-9847 | 3 Apple, Libreoffice, Microsoft | 3 Macos, Libreoffice, Windows | 2024-11-21 | N/A |
A vulnerability in LibreOffice hyperlink processing allows an attacker to construct documents containing hyperlinks pointing to the location of an executable on the target users file system. If the hyperlink is activated by the victim the executable target is unconditionally launched. Under Windows and macOS when processing a hyperlink target explicitly activated by the user there was no judgment made on whether the target was an executable file, so such executable targets were launched unconditionally. This issue affects: All LibreOffice Windows and macOS versions prior to 6.1.6; LibreOffice Windows and macOS versions in the 6.2 series prior to 6.2.3.
CVE-2019-9845 | 1 Miniblog.core Project | 1 Miniblog.core | 2024-11-21 | N/A |
madskristensen Miniblog.Core through 2019-01-16 allows remote attackers to execute arbitrary ASPX code via an IMG element with a data: URL, because SaveFilesToDisk in Controllers/BlogController.cs writes a decoded base64 string to a file without validating the extension.
CVE-2019-9826 | 1 Phpbb | 1 Phpbb | 2024-11-21 | N/A |
The fulltext search component in phpBB before 3.2.6 allows Denial of Service.
CVE-2019-9807 | 1 Mozilla | 1 Firefox | 2024-11-21 | N/A |
When arbitrary text is sent over an FTP connection and a page reload is initiated, it is possible to create a modal alert message with this text as the content. This could potentially be used for social engineering attacks. This vulnerability affects Firefox < 66.
CVE-2019-9801 | 2 Microsoft, Mozilla | 4 Windows, Firefox, Firefox Esr and 1 more | 2024-11-21 | N/A |
Firefox will accept any registered Program ID as an external protocol handler and offer to launch this local application when given a matching URL on Windows operating systems. This should only happen if the program has specifically registered itself as a "URL Handler" in the Windows registry. *Note: This issue only affects Windows operating systems. Other operating systems are unaffected.*. This vulnerability affects Thunderbird < 60.6, Firefox ESR < 60.6, and Firefox < 66.
CVE-2019-9799 | 1 Mozilla | 1 Firefox | 2024-11-21 | N/A |
Insufficient bounds checking of data during inter-process communication might allow a compromised content process to be able to read memory from the parent process under certain conditions. This vulnerability affects Firefox < 66.
CVE-2019-9735 | 3 Debian, Openstack, Redhat | 3 Debian Linux, Neutron, Openstack | 2024-11-21 | N/A |
An issue was discovered in the iptables firewall module in OpenStack Neutron before 10.0.8, 11.x before 11.0.7, 12.x before 12.0.6, and 13.x before 13.0.3. By setting a destination port in a security group rule along with a protocol that doesn't support that option (for example, VRRP), an authenticated user may block further application of security group rules for instances from any project/tenant on the compute hosts to which it's applied. (Only deployments using the iptables security group driver are affected.)
CVE-2019-9668 | 1 Rovinbhandari Ftp Project | 1 Rovinbhandari Ftp | 2024-11-21 | 7.5 High |
An issue was discovered in rovinbhandari FTP through 2012-03-28. receive_file in file_transfer_functions.c allows remote attackers to cause a denial of service (daemon crash) via a 0xffff datalen field value.
CVE-2019-9633 | 1 Gnome | 1 Glib | 2024-11-21 | N/A |
gio/gsocketclient.c in GNOME GLib 2.59.2 does not ensure that a parent GTask remains alive during the execution of a connection-attempting enumeration, which allows remote attackers to cause a denial of service (g_socket_client_connected_callback mishandling and application crash) via a crafted web site, as demonstrated by GNOME Web (aka Epiphany).
CVE-2019-9628 | 3 Canonical, Opensuse, Xmltooling Project | 3 Ubuntu Linux, Leap, Xmltooling | 2024-11-21 | 7.5 High |
The XMLTooling library all versions prior to V3.0.4, provided with the OpenSAML and Shibboleth Service Provider software, contains an XML parsing class. Invalid data in the XML declaration causes an exception of a type that was not handled properly in the parser class and propagates an unexpected exception type.
CVE-2019-9503 | 2 Broadcom, Redhat | 4 Brcmfmac Driver, Enterprise Linux, Rhel Eus and 1 more | 2024-11-21 | 7.9 High |
The Broadcom brcmfmac WiFi driver prior to commit a4176ec356c73a46c07c181c6d04039fafa34a9f is vulnerable to a frame validation bypass. If the brcmfmac driver receives a firmware event frame from a remote source, the is_wlc_event_frame function will cause this frame to be discarded and unprocessed. If the driver receives the firmware event frame from the host, the appropriate handler is called. This frame validation can be bypassed if the bus used is USB (for instance by a wifi dongle). This can allow firmware event frames from a remote source to be processed. In the worst case scenario, by sending specially-crafted WiFi packets, a remote, unauthenticated attacker may be able to execute arbitrary code on a vulnerable system. More typically, this vulnerability will result in denial-of-service conditions. |
