| CVE-2026-19617 | 1 Redhat | 5 Enterprise Linux, Hardened Images, Hummingbird and 2 more | 2026-08-25 | 5.5 Medium |
| A flaw was found in libdm. A local attacker could craft a malicious Logical Volume Manager (LVM) metadata configuration with deeply nested structures. This could lead to uncontrolled recursion in the libdm configuration file parser, exhausting the stack and causing any LVM command reading the metadata to crash. This vulnerability results in a Denial of Service (DoS) for affected systems. | ||||
| CVE-2026-73585 | 1 Redhat | 1 Enterprise Linux | 2026-08-25 | 6.3 Medium |
| A flaw was found in sblim-cmpi-base. Insecure temporary file creation in the provider registration scripts allows a local unprivileged user to perform a symlink attack. By creating a symlink in a world-writable directory, an attacker can redirect privileged writes to an arbitrary file during script execution in a privileged context. This can lead to the overwrite of root-owned files, potentially disrupting system services or operation. Exploitation is conditional on the script running with elevated privileges and may be mitigated by sticky-directory symlink protections. | ||||
| CVE-2026-73584 | 1 Redhat | 1 Enterprise Linux | 2026-08-25 | 6.3 Medium |
| A flaw was found in sblim-sfcb. A local, low-privileged attacker can exploit a race condition during privileged instance migration by manipulating a temporary file in the `/tmp` directory. By repeatedly recreating a symbolic link, the attacker can redirect privileged output to an arbitrary file. This can lead to privileged file corruption or a denial of service (DoS) on the system. | ||||
| CVE-2026-73583 | 1 Redhat | 1 Enterprise Linux | 2026-08-25 | 6.6 Medium |
| A flaw was found in sblim-sfcb. A local attacker with access to the system can exploit an unsafe deserialization vulnerability in the provider-manager's inter-process communication (IPC) message parsing. By sending a specially crafted message, the attacker can cause out-of-bounds memory access, leading to the termination of the provider-manager process and a denial of service. This could also potentially result in limited unintended information disclosure. | ||||
| CVE-2026-18728 | 1 Redhat | 2 Enterprise Linux, Open Iscsi | 2026-08-25 | 6.5 Medium |
| A flaw was found in open-iscsi. An integer underflow vulnerability in the `iscsiuio` component, specifically during IPv4 Dynamic Host Configuration Protocol (DHCP) parsing, allows a remote attacker on the same local network segment to cause a denial of service. By sending a specially crafted IPv4/UDP DHCP reply, the attacker can trigger an out-of-bounds read, leading to the `iscsiuio` process crashing. This issue affects systems where `iscsiuio` is actively handling IPv4 DHCP traffic. | ||||
| CVE-2026-18727 | 1 Redhat | 1 Enterprise Linux | 2026-08-25 | 6.5 Medium |
| A flaw was found in open-iscsi's iscsiuio component. This vulnerability involves an integer underflow and out-of-bounds read during Dynamic Host Configuration Protocol for IPv6 (DHCPv6) packet parsing. Specifically, crafted DHCPv6 Advertise traffic with a short User Datagram Protocol (UDP) length can cause the DHCPv6 payload length to underflow. An unauthenticated attacker on an adjacent network segment can exploit this by sending specially crafted IPv6 UDP traffic while the client is in an active DHCPv6 exchange, leading to a denial of service due to a process crash or service disruption. | ||||
| CVE-2026-19550 | 2 Freeipa, Redhat | 2 Freeipa, Enterprise Linux | 2026-08-25 | 8.2 High |
| A flaw was found in FreeIPA. The trust-fetch-domains command is gated by a read-only permission on the trust object rather than a trust-administration permission, allowing an authenticated, non-privileged IPA user to trigger a privileged Active Directory trust refresh using an attacker-supplied server and credentials, resulting in unauthorized, attacker-controlled modification of trusted-domain and ID-range identity data in the IPA LDAP directory. | ||||
| CVE-2026-9256 | 3 Debian, F5, Redhat | 12 Debian Linux, Dos, Nginx Gateway Fabric and 9 more | 2026-08-25 | 8.1 High |
| NGINX Plus and NGINX Open Source have a vulnerability in the ngx_http_rewrite_module module. This vulnerability exists when a rewrite directive uses a regex pattern with distinct, overlapping Perl-Compatible Regular Expression (PCRE) captures (for example, ^/((.*))$) and a replacement string that references multiple such captures (for example, $1$2) in a redirect or arguments context. An unauthenticated attacker along with conditions beyond their control can exploit this vulnerability by sending crafted HTTP requests. This may cause a heap buffer overflow in the NGINX worker process leading to a restart. Additionally, attackers can execute code on systems with Address Space Layout Randomization (ASLR) disabled or when the attacker can bypass ASLR. Note: Software versions which have reached End of Technical Support (EoTS) are not evaluated. | ||||
| CVE-2026-42055 | 2 F5, Redhat | 11 Dos, Nginx Gateway Fabric, Nginx Ingress Controller and 8 more | 2026-08-25 | 8.1 High |
| NGINX Plus and NGINX Open Source have a vulnerability in the ngx_http_proxy_v2_module and ngx_http_grpc_module modules. This vulnerability exists when the proxy_http_version to 2 or grpc_pass directives are used to proxy HTTP/2 traffic, the ignore_invalid_headers directive is set to off, and the large_client_header_buffers directive size is larger than 2 megabytes. A remote, unauthenticated attacker, along with conditions beyond their control, could send large headers while creating an upstream request. This may cause a heap-based buffer overflow in the NGINX worker process leading to a restart. Additionally, attackers can execute code on systems with Address Space Layout Randomization (ASLR) disabled or when the attacker can bypass ASLR. Note: Software versions which have reached End of Technical Support (EoTS) are not evaluated. | ||||
| CVE-2026-78701 | 1 Redhat | 2 Directory Server, Enterprise Linux | 2026-08-25 | 6.5 Medium |
| A flaw was found in 389-ds-base. A remote, authenticated attacker could exploit a vulnerability in the Simple Authentication and Security Layer (SASL) UNBIND process. By sending a specially crafted request, the attacker can cause a connection to stall, leading to resource exhaustion and a Denial of Service (DoS) for the server. | ||||
| CVE-2026-55654 | 3 Openbsd, Openssh, Redhat | 8 Openssh, Openssh, Enterprise Linux and 5 more | 2026-08-25 | 3.7 Low |
| A flaw was found in OpenSSH. This vulnerability, a heap out-of-bounds read, occurs during the cleanup of GSSAPI (Generic Security Service Application Programming Interface) indicators when a trailing NULL termination is missing in the auth-indicators array. A remote attacker, under specific configurations involving GSSAPI authentication and a Kerberos environment, could exploit this to cause the SSH authentication path to crash or abort. This leads to a denial of service (DoS), impacting the availability of the SSH service. | ||||
| CVE-2026-5419 | 2 Gnu, Redhat | 11 Gnutls, Discovery, Enterprise Linux and 8 more | 2026-08-25 | 3.7 Low |
| A flaw was found in gnutls. The PKCS#7 padding check, performed during decryption, was not constant-time. This timing side-channel could allow a remote attacker to potentially leak sensitive information about the padding bytes through observable timing differences. This vulnerability is a form of information disclosure. | ||||
| CVE-2026-3832 | 2 Gnu, Redhat | 9 Gnutls, Discovery, Enterprise Linux and 6 more | 2026-08-25 | 3.7 Low |
| A flaw was found in gnutls. A remote attacker could exploit this vulnerability by presenting a specially crafted Online Certificate Status Protocol (OCSP) response during a TLS handshake. Due to a logic error in how gnutls processes multi-record OCSP responses, a client with OCSP verification enabled may incorrectly accept a revoked server certificate, potentially leading to a compromise of trust. | ||||
| CVE-2025-6170 | 2 Redhat, Xmlsoft | 9 Discovery, Enterprise Linux, Hummingbird and 6 more | 2026-08-25 | 2.5 Low |
| A flaw was found in the interactive shell of the xmllint command-line tool, used for parsing XML files. When a user inputs an overly long command, the program does not check the input size properly, which can cause it to crash. This issue might allow attackers to run harmful code in rare configurations without modern protections. | ||||
| CVE-2026-58015 | 2 Gnome, Redhat | 5 Glib, Enterprise Linux, Hardened Images and 2 more | 2026-08-25 | 5.9 Medium |
| A flaw was found in GLib. The D-Bus client-side implementation of the DBUS_COOKIE_SHA1 SASL authentication mechanism does not validate the cookie_context parameter received from the server. A malicious D-Bus server can supply a cookie_context containing path traversal sequences, causing the client to read an arbitrary file and exfiltrate sensitive data by verifying guessed file contents against a generated hash. | ||||
| CVE-2026-58014 | 2 Gnome, Redhat | 5 Glib, Enterprise Linux, Hardened Images and 2 more | 2026-08-25 | 7.3 High |
| A flaw was found in GLib. An off-by-one error can occur in the g_key_file_get_locale_string_list function in the gkeyfile.c file when loading a key file with an empty value. This flaw can cause an out-of-bounds access of 1 byte or a denial of service when the out-of-bounds access crosses a page boundary. | ||||
| CVE-2026-58013 | 2 Gnome, Redhat | 5 Glib, Enterprise Linux, Hardened Images and 2 more | 2026-08-25 | 6.5 Medium |
| A flaw was found in GLib. A buffer over-read can occur in g_io_channel_read_line_backend() in the giochannel.c file when a custom line terminator with a length greater than one is set, causing memcmp to read past the GString buffer. This vulnerability can cause a minor information disclosure of 7 bytes or a denial of service when the buffer over-read crosses a page boundary. | ||||
| CVE-2026-58010 | 2 Gnome, Redhat | 5 Glib, Enterprise Linux, Hardened Images and 2 more | 2026-08-25 | 6.5 Medium |
| A flaw was found in GLib. An off-by-one error can occur in the gvs_tuple_is_normal function in the glib/gvariant-serialiser.c file when doing an alignment padding check because the bounds check uses > instead of >=, causing an out-of-bounds read of only 1 byte. This issue can cause a minor information disclosure of 1 byte and a denial of service when the out-of-bounds read crosses a page boundary. | ||||
| CVE-2026-58012 | 2 Gnome, Redhat | 5 Glib, Enterprise Linux, Hardened Images and 2 more | 2026-08-25 | 6.5 Medium |
| A flaw was found in GLib. A buffer over-read can occur in the g_regex_replace function when used with the `G_REGEX_RAW` compile flag and case-change replacement escapes because the string_append function processes matched substrings using UTF-8 functions that assume valid UTF-8 input, even when the string is treated as raw bytes. This vulnerability can cause a minor information disclosure of 1-5 bytes and a denial of service when the buffer over-read crosses a page boundary. | ||||
| CVE-2026-58011 | 2 Gnome, Redhat | 5 Glib, Enterprise Linux, Hardened Images and 2 more | 2026-08-25 | 6.5 Medium |
| A flaw was found in GLib. An out-of-bounds read of only 2 bytes can occur in the g_date_time_get_ymd function in the glib/gdatetime.c file when an invalid GDateTime object produced by the g_date_time_add_full function is processed. This flaw can corrupt the date output and potentially cause logic errors that may lead to a denial of service. | ||||
