CVE-2021-27768 | 1 Hcltech | 1 Verse | 2024-11-21 | 6.3 Medium |
Using the ability to perform a Man-in-the-Middle (MITM) attack, which indicates a lack of hostname verification, sensitive account information was able to be intercepted. In this specific scenario, the application's network traffic was intercepted using a proxy server set up in 'transparent' mode while a certificate with an invalid hostname was active. The Android application was found to have hostname verification issues during the server setup and login flows; however, the application did not process requests post-login.
CVE-2021-22909 | 1 Ui | 2 Edgemax Edgerouter, Edgemax Edgerouter Firmware | 2024-11-21 | 7.5 High |
A vulnerability found in EdgeMAX EdgeRouter V2.0.9 and earlier could allow a malicious actor to execute a man-in-the-middle (MitM) attack during a firmware update. This vulnerability is fixed in EdgeMAX EdgeRouter V2.0.9-hotfix.1 and later.
CVE-2021-22890 | 9 Broadcom, Debian, Fedoraproject and 6 more | 12 Fabric Operating System, Debian Linux, Fedora and 9 more | 2024-11-21 | 3.7 Low |
curl 7.63.0 to and including 7.75.0 includes vulnerability that allows a malicious HTTPS proxy to MITM a connection due to bad handling of TLS 1.3 session tickets. When using a HTTPS proxy and TLS 1.3, libcurl can confuse session tickets arriving from the HTTPS proxy but work as if they arrived from the remote server and then wrongly "short-cut" the host handshake. When confusing the tickets, a HTTPS proxy can trick libcurl to use the wrong session ticket resume for the host and thereby circumvent the server TLS certificate check and make a MITM attack to be possible to perform unnoticed. Note that such a malicious HTTPS proxy needs to provide a certificate that curl will accept for the MITMed server for an attack to work - unless curl has been told to ignore the server certificate check.
CVE-2021-21953 | 1 Anker | 2 Eufy Homebase 2, Eufy Homebase 2 Firmware | 2024-11-21 | 8.1 High |
An authentication bypass vulnerability exists in the process_msg() function of the home_security binary of Anker Eufy Homebase 2 2.1.6.9h. A specially-crafted man-in-the-middle attack can lead to increased privileges.
CVE-2020-8558 | 2 Kubernetes, Redhat | 2 Kubernetes, Openshift | 2024-11-21 | 5.4 Medium |
The Kubelet and kube-proxy components in versions 1.1.0-1.16.10, 1.17.0-1.17.6, and 1.18.0-1.18.3 were found to contain a security issue which allows adjacent hosts to reach TCP and UDP services bound to 127.0.0.1 running on the node or in the node's network namespace. Such a service is generally thought to be reachable only by other processes on the same host, but due to this defeect, could be reachable by other hosts on the same LAN as the node, or by containers running on the same node as the service.
CVE-2020-13401 | 4 Broadcom, Debian, Docker and 1 more | 4 Sannav, Debian Linux, Engine and 1 more | 2024-11-21 | 6.0 Medium |
An issue was discovered in Docker Engine before 19.03.11. An attacker in a container, with the CAP_NET_RAW capability, can craft IPv6 router advertisements, and consequently spoof external IPv6 hosts, obtain sensitive information, or cause a denial of service.
CVE-2020-11024 | 1 Moonlight-stream | 1 Moonlight | 2024-11-21 | 6.1 Medium |
In Moonlight iOS/tvOS before 4.0.1, the pairing process is vulnerable to a man-in-the-middle attack. The bug has been fixed in Moonlight v4.0.1 for iOS and tvOS.
CVE-2020-10749 | 3 Fedoraproject, Linuxfoundation, Redhat | 7 Fedora, Cni Network Plugins, Container Native Virtualization and 4 more | 2024-11-21 | 6 Medium |
A vulnerability was found in all versions of containernetworking/plugins before version 0.8.6, that allows malicious containers in Kubernetes clusters to perform man-in-the-middle (MitM) attacks. A malicious container can exploit this flaw by sending rogue IPv6 router advertisements to the host or other containers, to redirect traffic to the malicious container.
CVE-2019-8282 | 1 Gemalto | 1 Sentinel Ldk | 2024-11-21 | 5.3 Medium |
Gemalto Admin Control Center, all versions prior to 7.92, uses cleartext HTTP to communicate with www3.safenet-inc.com to obtain language packs. This allows attacker to do man-in-the-middle (MITM) attack and replace original language pack by malicious one.
CVE-2019-5456 | 1 Ui | 1 Unifi Controller | 2024-11-21 | 8.1 High |
SMTP MITM refers to a malicious actor setting up an SMTP proxy server between the UniFi Controller version <= 5.10.21 and their actual SMTP server to record their SMTP credentials for malicious use later.
CVE-2019-3981 | 1 Mikrotik | 2 Routeros, Winbox | 2024-11-21 | 3.7 Low |
MikroTik Winbox 3.20 and below is vulnerable to man in the middle attacks. A man in the middle can downgrade the client's authentication protocol and recover the user's username and MD5 hashed password.
CVE-2019-3793 | 1 Pivotal Software | 1 Application Service | 2024-11-21 | 9.8 Critical |
Pivotal Apps Manager Release, versions 665.0.x prior to 665.0.28, versions 666.0.x prior to 666.0.21, versions 667.0.x prior to 667.0.7, contain an invitation service that accepts HTTP. A remote unauthenticated user could listen to network traffic and gain access to the authorization credentials used to make the invitation requests.
CVE-2019-15126 | 2 Apple, Broadcom | 15 Ipados, Iphone Os, Mac Os X and 12 more | 2024-11-21 | 3.1 Low |
An issue was discovered on Broadcom Wi-Fi client devices. Specifically timed and handcrafted traffic can cause internal errors (related to state transitions) in a WLAN device that lead to improper layer 2 Wi-Fi encryption with a consequent possibility of information disclosure over the air for a discrete set of traffic, a different vulnerability than CVE-2019-9500, CVE-2019-9501, CVE-2019-9502, and CVE-2019-9503.
CVE-2019-14899 | 4 Apple, Freebsd, Linux and 1 more | 8 Ipados, Iphone Os, Mac Os X and 5 more | 2024-11-21 | 7.4 High |
A vulnerability was discovered in Linux, FreeBSD, OpenBSD, MacOS, iOS, and Android that allows a malicious access point, or an adjacent user, to determine if a connected user is using a VPN, make positive inferences about the websites they are visiting, and determine the correct sequence and acknowledgement numbers in use, allowing the bad actor to inject data into the TCP stream. This provides everything that is needed for an attacker to hijack active connections inside the VPN tunnel.
CVE-2019-11770 | 1 Eclipse | 1 Buildship | 2024-11-21 | 8.1 High |
In Eclipse Buildship versions prior to 3.1.1, the build files indicate that this project is resolving dependencies over HTTP instead of HTTPS. Any of these artifacts could have been MITM to maliciously compromise them and infect the build artifacts that were produced. Additionally, if any of these JARs or other dependencies were compromised, any developers using these could continue to be infected past updating to fix this.
CVE-2019-0223 | 2 Apache, Redhat | 17 Qpid, A Mq Clients, Cloudforms Managementengine and 14 more | 2024-11-21 | 7.4 High |
While investigating bug PROTON-2014, we discovered that under some circumstances Apache Qpid Proton versions 0.9 to 0.27.0 (C library and its language bindings) can connect to a peer anonymously using TLS *even when configured to verify the peer certificate* while used with OpenSSL versions before 1.1.0. This means that an undetected man in the middle attack could be constructed if an attacker can arrange to intercept TLS traffic.
CVE-2019-0054 | 1 Juniper | 25 Csrx, Junos, Srx100 and 22 more | 2024-11-21 | 6.8 Medium |

This issue affects: Juniper Networks Junos OS 15.1X49 versions prior to 15.1X49-D120 on SRX Series devices. No other versions of Junos OS are affected.
CVE-2018-20200 | 1 Squareup | 1 Okhttp | 2024-11-21 | N/A |
CertificatePinner.java in OkHttp 3.x through 3.12.0 allows man-in-the-middle attackers to bypass certificate pinning by changing SSLContext and the boolean values while hooking the application. NOTE: This id is disputed because some parties don't consider this is a vulnerability. Their rationale can be found in https://github.com/square/okhttp/issues/4967
CVE-2018-14636 | 1 Openstack | 1 Neutron | 2024-11-21 | N/A |
Live-migrated instances are briefly able to inspect traffic for other instances on the same hypervisor. This brief window could be extended indefinitely if the instance's port is set administratively down prior to live-migration and kept down after the migration is complete. This is possible due to the Open vSwitch integration bridge being connected to the instance during migration. When connected to the integration bridge, all traffic for instances using the same Open vSwitch instance would potentially be visible to the migrated guest, as the required Open vSwitch VLAN filters are only applied post-migration. Versions of openstack-neutron before 13.0.0.0b2, 12.0.3, 11.0.5 are vulnerable.
CVE-2018-13298 | 1 Synology | 1 Moments | 2024-11-21 | N/A |
Channel accessible by non-endpoint vulnerability in privacy page in Synology Android Moments before 1.2.3-199 allows man-in-the-middle attackers to execute arbitrary code via unspecified vectors. |
