| A malicious server can use the FTP PASV response to trick curl 7.73.0 and earlier into connecting back to a given IP address and port, and this way potentially make curl extract information about services that are otherwise private and not disclosed, for example doing port scanning and service banner extractions. | ||||
| CVE-2019-5188 | 7 Canonical, Debian, E2fsprogs Project and 4 more | 10 Ubuntu Linux, Debian Linux, E2fsprogs and 7 more | 2026-10-14 | 7.5 High |
| A code execution vulnerability exists in the directory rehashing functionality of E2fsprogs e2fsck 1.45.4. A specially crafted ext4 directory can cause an out-of-bounds write on the stack, resulting in code execution. An attacker can corrupt a partition to trigger this vulnerability. | ||||
| CVE-2019-17498 | 6 Debian, Fedoraproject, Libssh2 and 3 more | 13 Debian Linux, Fedora, Libssh2 and 10 more | 2026-10-14 | 8.1 High |
| In libssh2 v1.9.0 and earlier versions, the SSH_MSG_DISCONNECT logic in packet.c has an integer overflow in a bounds check, enabling an attacker to specify an arbitrary (out-of-bounds) offset for a subsequent memory read. A crafted SSH server may be able to disclose sensitive information or cause a denial of service condition on the client system when a user connects to the server. | ||||
| CVE-2020-35507 | 4 Broadcom, Gnu, Netapp and 1 more | 9 Brocade Fabric Operating System, Binutils, Cloud Backup and 6 more | 2026-10-08 | 5.5 Medium |
| There's a flaw in bfd_pef_parse_function_stubs of bfd/pef.c in binutils in versions prior to 2.34 which could allow an attacker who is able to submit a crafted file to be processed by objdump to cause a NULL pointer dereference. The greatest threat of this flaw is to application availability. | ||||
| CVE-2020-35493 | 4 Broadcom, Fedoraproject, Gnu and 1 more | 9 Brocade Fabric Operating System Firmware, Fedora, Binutils and 6 more | 2026-10-08 | 5.5 Medium |
| A flaw exists in binutils in bfd/pef.c. An attacker who is able to submit a crafted PEF file to be parsed by objdump could cause a heap buffer overflow -> out-of-bounds read that could lead to an impact to application availability. This flaw affects binutils versions prior to 2.34. | ||||
| CVE-2021-38199 | 3 Debian, Linux, Netapp | 8 Debian Linux, Linux Kernel, Element Software and 5 more | 2026-10-08 | 6.5 Medium |
| fs/nfs/nfs4client.c in the Linux kernel before 5.13.4 has incorrect connection-setup ordering, which allows operators of remote NFSv4 servers to cause a denial of service (hanging of mounts) by arranging for those servers to be unreachable during trunking detection. | ||||
| CVE-2020-12769 | 5 Canonical, Debian, Linux and 2 more | 36 Ubuntu Linux, Debian Linux, Linux Kernel and 33 more | 2026-10-08 | 5.5 Medium |
| An issue was discovered in the Linux kernel before 5.4.17. drivers/spi/spi-dw.c allows attackers to cause a panic via concurrent calls to dw_spi_irq and dw_spi_transfer_one, aka CID-19b61392c5a8. | ||||
| CVE-2019-19462 | 5 Canonical, Debian, Linux and 2 more | 9 Ubuntu Linux, Debian Linux, Linux Kernel and 6 more | 2026-10-08 | 5.5 Medium |
| relay_open in kernel/relay.c in the Linux kernel through 5.4.1 allows local users to cause a denial of service (such as relay blockage) by triggering a NULL alloc_percpu result. | ||||
| CVE-2019-19054 | 6 Broadcom, Canonical, Fedoraproject and 3 more | 19 Brocade Fabric Operating System Firmware, Ubuntu Linux, Fedora and 16 more | 2026-10-08 | 4.7 Medium |
| A memory leak in the cx23888_ir_probe() function in drivers/media/pci/cx23885/cx23888-ir.c in the Linux kernel through 5.3.11 allows attackers to cause a denial of service (memory consumption) by triggering kfifo_alloc() failures, aka CID-a7b2df76b42b. | ||||
| CVE-2023-0049 | 5 Apple, Fedoraproject, Neovim and 2 more | 5 Macos, Fedora, Neovim and 2 more | 2026-09-24 | 7.8 High |
| Out-of-bounds Read in GitHub repository vim/vim prior to 9.0.1143. | ||||
| CVE-2024-41965 | 3 Neovim, Netapp, Vim | 3 Neovim, Hci Compute Node, Vim | 2026-09-17 | 4.2 Medium |
| Vim is an open source command line text editor. double-free in dialog_changed() in Vim < v9.1.0648. When abandoning a buffer, Vim may ask the user what to do with the modified buffer. If the user wants the changed buffer to be saved, Vim may create a new Untitled file, if the buffer did not have a name yet. However, when setting the buffer name to Unnamed, Vim will falsely free a pointer twice, leading to a double-free and possibly later to a heap-use-after-free, which can lead to a crash. The issue has been fixed as of Vim patch v9.1.0648. | ||||
| CVE-2023-48706 | 4 Fedoraproject, Neovim, Netapp and 1 more | 4 Fedora, Neovim, Hci Compute Node and 1 more | 2026-09-17 | 3.6 Low |
| Vim is a UNIX editor that, prior to version 9.0.2121, has a heap-use-after-free vulnerability. When executing a `:s` command for the very first time and using a sub-replace-special atom inside the substitution part, it is possible that the recursive `:s` call causes free-ing of memory which may later then be accessed by the initial `:s` command. The user must intentionally execute the payload and the whole process is a bit tricky to do since it seems to work only reliably for the very first :s command. It may also cause a crash of Vim. Version 9.0.2121 contains a fix for this issue. | ||||
| CVE-2024-6387 | 13 Almalinux, Amazon, Apple and 10 more | 85 Almalinux, Amazon Linux, Macos and 82 more | 2026-08-31 | 8.1 High |
| A security regression (CVE-2006-5051) was discovered in OpenSSH's server (sshd). There is a race condition which can lead sshd to handle some signals in an unsafe manner. An unauthenticated, remote attacker may be able to trigger it by failing to authenticate within a set time period. | ||||
| CVE-2024-1086 | 5 Debian, Fedoraproject, Linux and 2 more | 35 Debian Linux, Fedora, Linux Kernel and 32 more | 2026-08-07 | 7.8 High |
| A use-after-free vulnerability in the Linux kernel's netfilter: nf_tables component can be exploited to achieve local privilege escalation. The nft_verdict_init() function allows positive values as drop error within the hook verdict, and hence the nf_hook_slow() function can cause a double free vulnerability when NF_DROP is issued with a drop error which resembles NF_ACCEPT. We recommend upgrading past commit f342de4e2f33e0e39165d8639387aa6c19dff660. | ||||
| CVE-2024-36958 | 2 Linux, Netapp | 15 Linux Kernel, Converged Systems Advisor Agent, H300s and 12 more | 2026-08-04 | 9.8 Critical |
| In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: NFSD: Fix nfsd4_encode_fattr4() crasher Ensure that args.acl is initialized early. It is used in an unconditional call to kfree() on the way out of nfsd4_encode_fattr4(). | ||||
| CVE-2024-6119 | 3 Netapp, Openssl, Redhat | 34 500f, 500f Firmware, A250 and 31 more | 2026-07-14 | 7.5 High |
| Issue summary: Applications performing certificate name checks (e.g., TLS clients checking server certificates) may attempt to read an invalid memory address resulting in abnormal termination of the application process. Impact summary: Abnormal termination of an application can a cause a denial of service. Applications performing certificate name checks (e.g., TLS clients checking server certificates) may attempt to read an invalid memory address when comparing the expected name with an `otherName` subject alternative name of an X.509 certificate. This may result in an exception that terminates the application program. Note that basic certificate chain validation (signatures, dates, ...) is not affected, the denial of service can occur only when the application also specifies an expected DNS name, Email address or IP address. TLS servers rarely solicit client certificates, and even when they do, they generally don't perform a name check against a reference identifier (expected identity), but rather extract the presented identity after checking the certificate chain. So TLS servers are generally not affected and the severity of the issue is Moderate. The FIPS modules in 3.3, 3.2, 3.1 and 3.0 are not affected by this issue. | ||||
| CVE-2022-37434 | 7 Apple, Debian, Fedoraproject and 4 more | 24 Ipados, Iphone Os, Macos and 21 more | 2026-07-14 | 9.8 Critical |
| zlib through 1.2.12 has a heap-based buffer over-read or buffer overflow in inflate in inflate.c via a large gzip header extra field. NOTE: only applications that call inflateGetHeader are affected. Some common applications bundle the affected zlib source code but may be unable to call inflateGetHeader (e.g., see the nodejs/node reference). | ||||
| CVE-2024-43374 | 3 Neovim, Netapp, Vim | 4 Neovim, Bootstrap Os, Hci Compute Node and 1 more | 2026-06-09 | 4.5 Medium |
| The UNIX editor Vim prior to version 9.1.0678 has a use-after-free error in argument list handling. When adding a new file to the argument list, this triggers `Buf*` autocommands. If in such an autocommand the buffer that was just opened is closed (including the window where it is shown), this causes the window structure to be freed which contains a reference to the argument list that we are actually modifying. Once the autocommands are completed, the references to the window and argument list are no longer valid and as such cause an use-after-free. Impact is low since the user must either intentionally add some unusual autocommands that wipe a buffer during creation (either manually or by sourcing a malicious plugin), but it will crash Vim. The issue has been fixed as of Vim patch v9.1.0678. | ||||
