CVE-2023-3971 | 1 Redhat | 7 Ansible Automation Controller, Ansible Automation Platform, Ansible Automation Platform Developer and 4 more | 2025-08-30 | 7.3 High |
An HTML injection flaw was found in Controller in the user interface settings. This flaw allows an attacker to capture credentials by creating a custom login page by injecting HTML, resulting in a complete compromise.
CVE-2023-3961 | 3 Fedoraproject, Redhat, Samba | 7 Fedora, Enterprise Linux, Enterprise Linux Eus and 4 more | 2025-08-30 | 9.1 Critical |
A path traversal vulnerability was identified in Samba when processing client pipe names connecting to Unix domain sockets within a private directory. Samba typically uses this mechanism to connect SMB clients to remote procedure call (RPC) services like SAMR LSA or SPOOLSS, which Samba initiates on demand. However, due to inadequate sanitization of incoming client pipe names, allowing a client to send a pipe name containing Unix directory traversal characters (../). This could result in SMB clients connecting as root to Unix domain sockets outside the private directory. If an attacker or client managed to send a pipe name resolving to an external service using an existing Unix domain socket, it could potentially lead to unauthorized access to the service and consequential adverse events, including compromise or service crashes.
CVE-2023-3108 | 2 Linux, Redhat | 2 Linux Kernel, Enterprise Linux | 2025-08-30 | 6.2 Medium |
A flaw was found in the subsequent get_user_pages_fast in the Linux kernel’s interface for symmetric key cipher algorithms in the skcipher_recvmsg of crypto/algif_skcipher.c function. This flaw allows a local user to crash the system.
CVE-2023-3106 | 3 Fedoraproject, Linux, Redhat | 3 Fedora, Linux Kernel, Enterprise Linux | 2025-08-30 | 6.6 Medium |
A NULL pointer dereference vulnerability was found in netlink_dump. This issue can occur when the Netlink socket receives the message(sendmsg) for the XFRM_MSG_GETSA, XFRM_MSG_GETPOLICY type message, and the DUMP flag is set and can cause a denial of service or possibly another unspecified impact. Due to the nature of the flaw, privilege escalation cannot be fully ruled out, although it is unlikely.
CVE-2023-34968 | 4 Debian, Fedoraproject, Redhat and 1 more | 7 Debian Linux, Fedora, Enterprise Linux and 4 more | 2025-08-30 | 5.3 Medium |
A path disclosure vulnerability was found in Samba. As part of the Spotlight protocol, Samba discloses the server-side absolute path of shares, files, and directories in the results for search queries. This flaw allows a malicious client or an attacker with a targeted RPC request to view the information that is part of the disclosed path.
CVE-2023-34967 | 4 Debian, Fedoraproject, Redhat and 1 more | 7 Debian Linux, Fedora, Enterprise Linux and 4 more | 2025-08-30 | 5.3 Medium |
A Type Confusion vulnerability was found in Samba's mdssvc RPC service for Spotlight. When parsing Spotlight mdssvc RPC packets, one encoded data structure is a key-value style dictionary where the keys are character strings, and the values can be any of the supported types in the mdssvc protocol. Due to a lack of type checking in callers of the dalloc_value_for_key() function, which returns the object associated with a key, a caller may trigger a crash in talloc_get_size() when talloc detects that the passed-in pointer is not a valid talloc pointer. With an RPC worker process shared among multiple client connections, a malicious client or attacker can trigger a process crash in a shared RPC mdssvc worker process, affecting all other clients this worker serves.
CVE-2023-34966 | 4 Debian, Fedoraproject, Redhat and 1 more | 7 Debian Linux, Fedora, Enterprise Linux and 4 more | 2025-08-30 | 7.5 High |
An infinite loop vulnerability was found in Samba's mdssvc RPC service for Spotlight. When parsing Spotlight mdssvc RPC packets sent by the client, the core unmarshalling function sl_unpack_loop() did not validate a field in the network packet that contains the count of elements in an array-like structure. By passing 0 as the count value, the attacked function will run in an endless loop consuming 100% CPU. This flaw allows an attacker to issue a malformed RPC request, triggering an infinite loop, resulting in a denial of service condition.
CVE-2023-3637 | 1 Redhat | 3 Openstack, Openstack-optools, Openstack Platform | 2025-08-30 | 4.3 Medium |
An uncontrolled resource consumption flaw was found in openstack-neutron. This flaw allows a remote authenticated user to query a list of security groups for an invalid project. This issue creates resources that are unconstrained by the user's quota. If a malicious user were to submit a significant number of requests, this could lead to a denial of service.
CVE-2023-3629 | 2 Infinispan, Redhat | 4 Infinispan, Data Grid, Jboss Data Grid and 1 more | 2025-08-30 | 4.3 Medium |
A flaw was found in Infinispan's REST, Cache retrieval endpoints do not properly evaluate the necessary admin permissions for the operation. This issue could allow an authenticated user to access information outside of their intended permissions.
CVE-2023-3628 | 2 Infinispan, Redhat | 4 Infinispan, Data Grid, Jboss Data Grid and 1 more | 2025-08-30 | 6.5 Medium |
A flaw was found in Infinispan's REST. Bulk read endpoints do not properly evaluate user permissions for the operation. This issue could allow an authenticated user to access information outside of their intended permissions.
CVE-2023-3597 | 1 Redhat | 2 Build Keycloak, Red Hat Single Sign On | 2025-08-30 | 5 Medium |
A flaw was found in Keycloak, where it does not correctly validate its client step-up authentication in org.keycloak.authentication. This flaw allows a remote user authenticated with a password to register a false second authentication factor along with an existing one and bypass authentication.
CVE-2023-3576 | 3 Fedoraproject, Libtiff, Redhat | 3 Fedora, Libtiff, Enterprise Linux | 2025-08-30 | 5.5 Medium |
A memory leak flaw was found in Libtiff's tiffcrop utility. This issue occurs when tiffcrop operates on a TIFF image file, allowing an attacker to pass a crafted TIFF image file to tiffcrop utility, which causes this memory leak issue, resulting an application crash, eventually leading to a denial of service.
CVE-2023-3428 | 3 Fedoraproject, Imagemagick, Redhat | 4 Extra Packages For Enterprise Linux, Fedora, Imagemagick and 1 more | 2025-08-30 | 6.2 Medium |
A heap-based buffer overflow vulnerability was found in coders/tiff.c in ImageMagick. This issue may allow a local attacker to trick the user into opening a specially crafted file, resulting in an application crash and denial of service.
CVE-2023-3397 | 2 Linux, Redhat | 2 Linux Kernel, Enterprise Linux | 2025-08-30 | 7 High |
A race condition occurred between the functions lmLogClose and txEnd in JFS, in the Linux Kernel, executed in different threads. This flaw allows a local attacker with normal user privileges to crash the system or leak internal kernel information.
CVE-2023-3347 | 3 Fedoraproject, Redhat, Samba | 4 Fedora, Enterprise Linux, Storage and 1 more | 2025-08-30 | 5.9 Medium |
A vulnerability was found in Samba's SMB2 packet signing mechanism. The SMB2 packet signing is not enforced if an admin configured "server signing = required" or for SMB2 connections to Domain Controllers where SMB2 packet signing is mandatory. This flaw allows an attacker to perform attacks, such as a man-in-the-middle attack, by intercepting the network traffic and modifying the SMB2 messages between client and server, affecting the integrity of the data.
CVE-2022-2127 | 4 Debian, Fedoraproject, Redhat and 1 more | 7 Debian Linux, Fedora, Enterprise Linux and 4 more | 2025-08-30 | 5.9 Medium |
An out-of-bounds read vulnerability was found in Samba due to insufficient length checks in winbindd_pam_auth_crap.c. When performing NTLM authentication, the client replies to cryptographic challenges back to the server. These replies have variable lengths, and Winbind fails to check the lan manager response length. When Winbind is used for NTLM authentication, a maliciously crafted request can trigger an out-of-bounds read in Winbind, possibly resulting in a crash.
CVE-2020-27792 | 3 Artifex, Debian, Redhat | 3 Ghostscript, Debian Linux, Enterprise Linux | 2025-08-29 | 7.1 High |
A heap-based buffer overwrite vulnerability was found in GhostScript's lp8000_print_page() function in the gdevlp8k.c file. This flaw allows an attacker to trick a user into opening a crafted PDF file, triggering the heap buffer overflow that could lead to memory corruption or a denial of service.
CVE-2023-6816 | 4 Debian, Fedoraproject, Redhat and 1 more | 13 Debian Linux, Fedora, Enterprise Linux and 10 more | 2025-08-29 | 9.8 Critical |
A flaw was found in X.Org server. Both DeviceFocusEvent and the XIQueryPointer reply contain a bit for each logical button currently down. Buttons can be arbitrarily mapped to any value up to 255, but the X.Org Server was only allocating space for the device's particular number of buttons, leading to a heap overflow if a bigger value was used.
CVE-2024-0409 | 4 Fedoraproject, Redhat, Tigervnc and 1 more | 12 Fedora, Enterprise Linux, Enterprise Linux Desktop and 9 more | 2025-08-29 | 7.8 High |
A flaw was found in the X.Org server. The cursor code in both Xephyr and Xwayland uses the wrong type of private at creation. It uses the cursor bits type with the cursor as private, and when initiating the cursor, that overwrites the XSELINUX context.
CVE-2014-8091 | 2 Redhat, X.org | 3 Enterprise Linux, X11, X Server | 2025-08-29 | N/A |
X.Org X Window System (aka X11 and X) X11R5 and X.Org Server (aka xserver and xorg-server) before 1.16.3, when using SUN-DES-1 (Secure RPC) authentication credentials, does not check the return value of a malloc call, which allows remote attackers to cause a denial of service (NULL pointer dereference and server crash) via a crafted connection request. |
