| CVE-2021-22925 | 8 Apple, Fedoraproject, Haxx and 5 more | 28 Mac Os X, Macos, Fedora and 25 more | 2024-11-21 | 5.3 Medium |
| curl supports the `-t` command line option, known as `CURLOPT_TELNETOPTIONS`in libcurl. This rarely used option is used to send variable=content pairs toTELNET servers.Due to flaw in the option parser for sending `NEW_ENV` variables, libcurlcould be made to pass on uninitialized data from a stack based buffer to theserver. Therefore potentially revealing sensitive internal information to theserver using a clear-text network protocol. This could happen because curl did not call and use sscanf() correctly whenparsing the string provided by the application. | ||||
| CVE-2021-22923 | 7 Fedoraproject, Haxx, Netapp and 4 more | 25 Fedora, Curl, Cloud Backup and 22 more | 2024-11-21 | 5.3 Medium |
| When curl is instructed to get content using the metalink feature, and a user name and password are used to download the metalink XML file, those same credentials are then subsequently passed on to each of the servers from which curl will download or try to download the contents from. Often contrary to the user's expectations and intentions and without telling the user it happened. | ||||
| CVE-2021-22922 | 7 Fedoraproject, Haxx, Netapp and 4 more | 25 Fedora, Curl, Cloud Backup and 22 more | 2024-11-21 | 6.5 Medium |
| When curl is instructed to download content using the metalink feature, thecontents is verified against a hash provided in the metalink XML file. The metalink XML file points out to the client how to get the same contentfrom a set of different URLs, potentially hosted by different servers and theclient can then download the file from one or several of them. In a serial orparallel manner. If one of the servers hosting the contents has been breached and the contentsof the specific file on that server is replaced with a modified payload, curlshould detect this when the hash of the file mismatches after a completeddownload. It should remove the contents and instead try getting the contentsfrom another URL. This is not done, and instead such a hash mismatch is onlymentioned in text and the potentially malicious content is kept in the file ondisk. | ||||
| CVE-2021-22915 | 2 Fedoraproject, Nextcloud | 2 Fedora, Nextcloud Server | 2024-11-21 | 9.8 Critical |
| Nextcloud server before 19.0.11, 20.0.10, 21.0.2 is vulnerable to brute force attacks due to lack of inclusion of IPv6 subnets in rate-limiting considerations. This could potentially result in an attacker bypassing rate-limit controls such as the Nextcloud brute-force protection. | ||||
| CVE-2021-22898 | 7 Debian, Fedoraproject, Haxx and 4 more | 13 Debian Linux, Fedora, Curl and 10 more | 2024-11-21 | 3.1 Low |
| curl 7.7 through 7.76.1 suffers from an information disclosure when the `-t` command line option, known as `CURLOPT_TELNETOPTIONS` in libcurl, is used to send variable=content pairs to TELNET servers. Due to a flaw in the option parser for sending NEW_ENV variables, libcurl could be made to pass on uninitialized data from a stack based buffer to the server, resulting in potentially revealing sensitive internal information to the server using a clear-text network protocol. | ||||
| CVE-2021-22881 | 2 Fedoraproject, Rubyonrails | 2 Fedora, Rails | 2024-11-21 | 6.1 Medium |
| The Host Authorization middleware in Action Pack before 6.1.2.1, 6.0.3.5 suffers from an open redirect vulnerability. Specially crafted `Host` headers in combination with certain "allowed host" formats can cause the Host Authorization middleware in Action Pack to redirect users to a malicious website. Impacted applications will have allowed hosts with a leading dot. When an allowed host contains a leading dot, a specially crafted `Host` header can be used to redirect to a malicious website. | ||||
| CVE-2021-22880 | 2 Fedoraproject, Rubyonrails | 2 Fedora, Rails | 2024-11-21 | 7.5 High |
| The PostgreSQL adapter in Active Record before 6.1.2.1, 6.0.3.5, 5.2.4.5 suffers from a regular expression denial of service (REDoS) vulnerability. Carefully crafted input can cause the input validation in the `money` type of the PostgreSQL adapter in Active Record to spend too much time in a regular expression, resulting in the potential for a DoS attack. This only impacts Rails applications that are using PostgreSQL along with money type columns that take user input. | ||||
| CVE-2021-22879 | 2 Fedoraproject, Nextcloud | 2 Fedora, Desktop | 2024-11-21 | 8.8 High |
| Nextcloud Desktop Client prior to 3.1.3 is vulnerable to resource injection by way of missing validation of URLs, allowing a malicious server to execute remote commands. User interaction is needed for exploitation. | ||||
| CVE-2021-22878 | 2 Fedoraproject, Nextcloud | 2 Fedora, Nextcloud Server | 2024-11-21 | 4.8 Medium |
| Nextcloud Server prior to 20.0.6 is vulnerable to reflected cross-site scripting (XSS) due to lack of sanitization in `OC.Notification.show`. | ||||
| CVE-2021-22877 | 2 Fedoraproject, Nextcloud | 2 Fedora, Nextcloud Server | 2024-11-21 | 6.5 Medium |
| A missing user check in Nextcloud prior to 20.0.6 inadvertently populates a user's own credentials for other users external storage configuration when not already configured yet. | ||||
| CVE-2021-22543 | 5 Debian, Fedoraproject, Linux and 2 more | 29 Debian Linux, Fedora, Linux Kernel and 26 more | 2024-11-21 | 7.8 High |
| An issue was discovered in Linux: KVM through Improper handling of VM_IO|VM_PFNMAP vmas in KVM can bypass RO checks and can lead to pages being freed while still accessible by the VMM and guest. This allows users with the ability to start and control a VM to read/write random pages of memory and can result in local privilege escalation. | ||||
| CVE-2021-22212 | 2 Fedoraproject, Ntpsec | 2 Fedora, Ntpsec | 2024-11-21 | 4 Medium |
| ntpkeygen can generate keys that ntpd fails to parse. NTPsec 1.2.0 allows ntpkeygen to generate keys with '#' characters. ntpd then either pads, shortens the key, or fails to load these keys entirely, depending on the key type and the placement of the '#'. This results in the administrator not being able to use the keys as expected or the keys are shorter than expected and easier to brute-force, possibly resulting in MITM attacks between ntp clients and ntp servers. For short AES128 keys, ntpd generates a warning that it is padding them. | ||||
| CVE-2021-22207 | 4 Debian, Fedoraproject, Oracle and 1 more | 4 Debian Linux, Fedora, Zfs Storage Appliance Kit and 1 more | 2024-11-21 | 5.5 Medium |
