| CVE-2019-3901 | 4 Debian, Linux, Netapp and 1 more | 14 Debian Linux, Linux Kernel, Active Iq Unified Manager For Vmware Vsphere and 11 more | 2024-11-21 | 4.7 Medium |
| A race condition in perf_event_open() allows local attackers to leak sensitive data from setuid programs. As no relevant locks (in particular the cred_guard_mutex) are held during the ptrace_may_access() call, it is possible for the specified target task to perform an execve() syscall with setuid execution before perf_event_alloc() actually attaches to it, allowing an attacker to bypass the ptrace_may_access() check and the perf_event_exit_task(current) call that is performed in install_exec_creds() during privileged execve() calls. This issue affects kernel versions before 4.8. | ||||
| CVE-2019-3900 | 7 Canonical, Debian, Fedoraproject and 4 more | 20 Ubuntu Linux, Debian Linux, Fedora and 17 more | 2024-11-21 | 7.7 High |
| An infinite loop issue was found in the vhost_net kernel module in Linux Kernel up to and including v5.1-rc6, while handling incoming packets in handle_rx(). It could occur if one end sends packets faster than the other end can process them. A guest user, maybe remote one, could use this flaw to stall the vhost_net kernel thread, resulting in a DoS scenario. | ||||
| CVE-2019-3882 | 7 Canonical, Debian, Fedoraproject and 4 more | 16 Ubuntu Linux, Debian Linux, Fedora and 13 more | 2024-11-21 | 5.5 Medium |
| A flaw was found in the Linux kernel's vfio interface implementation that permits violation of the user's locked memory limit. If a device is bound to a vfio driver, such as vfio-pci, and the local attacker is administratively granted ownership of the device, it may cause a system memory exhaustion and thus a denial of service (DoS). Versions 3.10, 4.14 and 4.18 are vulnerable. | ||||
| CVE-2019-3846 | 7 Canonical, Debian, Fedoraproject and 4 more | 17 Ubuntu Linux, Debian Linux, Fedora and 14 more | 2024-11-21 | 8.8 High |
| A flaw that allowed an attacker to corrupt memory and possibly escalate privileges was found in the mwifiex kernel module while connecting to a malicious wireless network. | ||||
| CVE-2019-3460 | 4 Canonical, Debian, Linux and 1 more | 17 Ubuntu Linux, Debian Linux, Linux Kernel and 14 more | 2024-11-21 | 6.5 Medium |

| mwifiex_tm_cmd in drivers/net/wireless/marvell/mwifiex/cfg80211.c in the Linux kernel before 5.1.6 has some error-handling cases that did not free allocated hostcmd memory, aka CID-003b686ace82. This will cause a memory leak and denial of service. | ||||
| CVE-2019-20054 | 3 Linux, Netapp, Redhat | 19 Linux Kernel, 8300, 8300 Firmware and 16 more | 2024-11-21 | 5.5 Medium |
| In the Linux kernel before 5.0.6, there is a NULL pointer dereference in drop_sysctl_table() in fs/proc/proc_sysctl.c, related to put_links, aka CID-23da9588037e. | ||||
| CVE-2019-19807 | 3 Canonical, Linux, Redhat | 5 Ubuntu Linux, Linux Kernel, Enterprise Linux and 2 more | 2024-11-21 | 7.8 High |
| In the Linux kernel before 5.3.11, sound/core/timer.c has a use-after-free caused by erroneous code refactoring, aka CID-e7af6307a8a5. This is related to snd_timer_open and snd_timer_close_locked. The timeri variable was originally intended to be for a newly created timer instance, but was used for a different purpose after refactoring. | ||||
