The Thunderbird Address Book URI fields contained unsanitized links. This could be used by an attacker to create and export an address book containing a malicious payload in a field. For example, in the “Other” field of the Instant Messaging section. If another user imported the address book, clicking on the link could result in opening a web page inside Thunderbird, and that page could execute (unprivileged) JavaScript. CVE-2024-2612 | 2 Mozilla, Redhat | 8 Firefox, Firefox Esr, Thunderbird and 5 more | 2025-02-13 | 8.1 High |
If an attacker could find a way to trigger a particular code path in `SafeRefPtr`, it could have triggered a crash or potentially be leveraged to achieve code execution. This vulnerability affects Firefox < 124, Firefox ESR < 115.9, and Thunderbird < 115.9. | ||||
CVE-2023-6873 | 2 Debian, Mozilla | 2 Debian Linux, Firefox | 2025-02-13 | 8.8 High |
