An issue was discovered in GNU gettext 0.19.8. There is a double free in default_add_message in read-catalog.c, related to an invalid free in po_gram_parse in po-gram-gen.y, as demonstrated by lt-msgfmt.
CVE-2018-18690 | 4 Canonical, Debian, Linux and 1 more | 5 Ubuntu Linux, Debian Linux, Linux Kernel and 2 more | 2024-11-21 | N/A |
In the Linux kernel before 4.17, a local attacker able to set attributes on an xfs filesystem could make this filesystem non-operational until the next mount by triggering an unchecked error condition during an xfs attribute change, because xfs_attr_shortform_addname in fs/xfs/libxfs/xfs_attr.c mishandles ATTR_REPLACE operations with conversion of an attr from short to long form.
CVE-2018-18661 | 3 Canonical, Libtiff, Redhat | 3 Ubuntu Linux, Libtiff, Enterprise Linux | 2024-11-21 | N/A |
An issue was discovered in LibTIFF 4.0.9. There is a NULL pointer dereference in the function LZWDecode in the file tif_lzw.c.
CVE-2018-18624 | 2 Grafana, Redhat | 3 Grafana, Enterprise Linux, Openshift | 2024-11-21 | 6.1 Medium |
Grafana 5.3.1 has XSS via a column style on the "Dashboard > Table Panel" screen. NOTE: this issue exists because of an incomplete fix for CVE-2018-12099.
CVE-2018-18623 | 2 Grafana, Redhat | 2 Grafana, Ceph Storage | 2024-11-21 | 6.1 Medium |

chmd_read_headers in mspack/chmd.c in libmspack before 0.8alpha accepts a filename that has '\0' as its first or second character (such as the "/\0" name).
CVE-2018-18584 | 7 Cabextract Project, Canonical, Debian and 4 more | 7 Cabextract, Ubuntu Linux, Debian Linux and 4 more | 2024-11-21 | 6.5 Medium |
In mspack/cab.h in libmspack before 0.8alpha and cabextract before 1.8, the CAB block input buffer is one byte too small for the maximal Quantum block, leading to an out-of-bounds write.
CVE-2018-18559 | 2 Linux, Redhat | 16 Linux Kernel, Enterprise Linux, Enterprise Linux Desktop and 13 more | 2024-11-21 | 8.1 High |
In the Linux kernel through 4.19, a use-after-free can occur due to a race condition between fanout_add from setsockopt and bind on an AF_PACKET socket. This issue exists because of the 15fe076edea787807a7cdc168df832544b58eba6 incomplete fix for a race condition. The code mishandles a certain multithreaded case involving a packet_do_bind unregister action followed by a packet_notifier register action. Later, packet_release operates on only one of the two applicable linked lists. The attacker can achieve Program Counter control.
CVE-2018-18557 | 4 Canonical, Debian, Libtiff and 1 more | 4 Ubuntu Linux, Debian Linux, Libtiff and 1 more | 2024-11-21 | N/A |
LibTIFF 3.9.3, 3.9.4, 3.9.5, 3.9.6, 3.9.7, 4.0.0alpha4, 4.0.0alpha5, 4.0.0alpha6, 4.0.0beta7, 4.0.0, 4.0.1, 4.0.2, 4.0.3, 4.0.4, 4.0.4beta, 4.0.5, 4.0.6, 4.0.7, 4.0.8 and 4.0.9 (with JBIG enabled) decodes arbitrarily-sized JBIG into a buffer, ignoring the buffer size, which leads to a tif_jbig.c JBIGDecode out-of-bounds write.
CVE-2018-18544 | 4 Graphicsmagick, Imagemagick, Opensuse and 1 more | 4 Graphicsmagick, Imagemagick, Leap and 1 more | 2024-11-21 | N/A |

CVE-2018-18521 | 5 Canonical, Debian, Elfutils Project and 2 more | 9 Ubuntu Linux, Debian Linux, Elfutils and 6 more | 2024-11-21 | 5.5 Medium |
Divide-by-zero vulnerabilities in the function arlib_add_symbols() in arlib.c in elfutils 0.174 allow remote attackers to cause a denial of service (application crash) with a crafted ELF file, as demonstrated by eu-ranlib, because a zero sh_entsize is mishandled.
CVE-2018-18520 | 5 Canonical, Debian, Elfutils Project and 2 more | 9 Ubuntu Linux, Debian Linux, Elfutils and 6 more | 2024-11-21 | 6.5 Medium |
An Invalid Memory Address Dereference exists in the function elf_end in libelf in elfutils through v0.174. Although eu-size is intended to support ar files inside ar files, handle_ar in size.c closes the outer ar file before handling all inner entries. The vulnerability allows attackers to cause a denial of service (application crash) with a crafted ELF file. |
