CVE-2022-45939 4 Debian, Fedoraproject, Gnu and 1 more 5 Debian Linux, Fedora, Emacs and 2 more 2025-04-28 7.8 High
GNU Emacs through 28.2 allows attackers to execute commands via shell metacharacters in the name of a source-code file, because lib-src/etags.c uses the system C library function in its implementation of the ctags program. For example, a victim may use the "ctags *" command (suggested in the ctags documentation) in a situation where the current working directory has contents that depend on untrusted input.
CVE-2024-29510 2 Artifex, Redhat 3 Ghostscript, Enterprise Linux, Rhel Eus 2025-04-28 6.3 Medium
Artifex Ghostscript before 10.03.1 allows memory corruption, and SAFER sandbox bypass, via format string injection with a uniprint device.
CVE-2025-1244 1 Redhat 7 Enterprise Linux, Openshift Builds, Rhel Aus and 4 more 2025-04-28 8.8 High
A command injection flaw was found in the text editor Emacs. It could allow a remote, unauthenticated attacker to execute arbitrary shell commands on a vulnerable system. Exploitation is possible by tricking users into visiting a specially crafted website or an HTTP URL with a redirect.
CVE-2025-32907 1 Redhat 1 Enterprise Linux 2025-04-28 5.3 Medium
A flaw was found in libsoup. The implementation of HTTP range requests is vulnerable to a resource consumption attack. This flaw allows a malicious client to request the same range many times in a single HTTP request, causing the server to use large amounts of memory. This does not allow for a full denial of service.
CVE-2025-32911 1 Redhat 1 Enterprise Linux 2025-04-28 9 Critical
A use-after-free type vulnerability was found in libsoup, in the soup_message_headers_get_content_disposition() function. This flaw allows a malicious HTTP client to cause memory corruption in the libsoup server.
CVE-2023-28746 1 Redhat 2 Enterprise Linux, Rhel Eus 2025-04-26 6.5 Medium
Information exposure through microarchitectural state after transient execution from some register files for some Intel(R) Atom(R) Processors may allow an authenticated user to potentially enable information disclosure via local access.
CVE-2024-9287 2 Python, Redhat 4 Cpython, Python, Enterprise Linux and 1 more 2025-04-25 7.8 High
A vulnerability has been found in the CPython `venv` module and CLI where path names provided when creating a virtual environment were not quoted properly, allowing the creator to inject commands into virtual environment "activation" scripts (ie "source venv/bin/activate"). This means that attacker-controlled virtual environments are able to run commands when the virtual environment is activated. Virtual environments which are not created by an attacker or which aren't activated before being used (ie "./venv/bin/python") are not affected.
CVE-2024-3447 1 Redhat 2 Advanced Virtualization, Enterprise Linux 2025-04-25 6 Medium
A heap-based buffer overflow was found in the SDHCI device emulation of QEMU. The bug is triggered when both `s->data_count` and the size of `s->fifo_buffer` are set to 0x200, leading to an out-of-bound access. A malicious guest could use this flaw to crash the QEMU process on the host, resulting in a denial of service condition.
CVE-2018-5733 4 Canonical, Debian, Isc and 1 more 9 Ubuntu Linux, Debian Linux, Dhcp and 6 more 2025-04-25 7.5 High
A malicious client which is allowed to send very large amounts of traffic (billions of packets) to a DHCP server can eventually overflow a 32-bit reference counter, potentially causing dhcpd to crash. Affects ISC DHCP 4.1.0 -> 4.1-ESV-R15, 4.2.0 -> 4.2.8, 4.3.0 -> 4.3.6, 4.4.0.
CVE-2022-45887 3 Linux, Netapp, Redhat 14 Linux Kernel, H300s, H300s Firmware and 11 more 2025-04-25 4.7 Medium
An issue was discovered in the Linux kernel through 6.0.9. drivers/media/usb/ttusb-dec/ttusb_dec.c has a memory leak because of the lack of a dvb_frontend_detach call.
CVE-2022-38900 2 Decode-uri-component Project, Redhat 7 Decode-uri-component, Enterprise Linux, Jboss Enterprise Bpms Platform and 4 more 2025-04-25 7.5 High

CVE-2022-45873 3 Fedoraproject, Redhat, Systemd Project 3 Fedora, Enterprise Linux, Systemd 2025-04-25 5.5 Medium
systemd 250 and 251 allows local users to achieve a systemd-coredump deadlock by triggering a crash that has a long backtrace. This occurs in parse_elf_object in shared/elf-util.c. The exploitation methodology is to crash a binary calling the same function recursively, and put it in a deeply nested directory to make its backtrace large enough to cause the deadlock. This must be done 16 times when MaxConnections=16 is set for the systemd/units/systemd-coredump.socket file.
CVE-2024-11831 1 Redhat 33 Acm, Advanced Cluster Security, Ansible Automation Platform and 30 more 2025-04-24 5.4 Medium
A flaw was found in npm-serialize-javascript. The vulnerability occurs because the serialize-javascript module does not properly sanitize certain inputs, such as regex or other JavaScript object types, allowing an attacker to inject malicious code. This code could be executed when deserialized by a web browser, causing Cross-site scripting (XSS) attacks. This issue is critical in environments where serialized data is sent to web clients, potentially compromising the security of the website or web application using this package.
CVE-2024-6387 9 Amazon, Canonical, Debian and 6 more 24 Linux 2023, Ubuntu Linux, Debian Linux and 21 more 2025-04-24 8.1 High
A security regression (CVE-2006-5051) was discovered in OpenSSH's server (sshd). There is a race condition which can lead sshd to handle some signals in an unsafe manner. An unauthenticated, remote attacker may be able to trigger it by failing to authenticate within a set time period.
