| CVE-2020-29573 | 3 Gnu, Netapp, Redhat | 9 Glibc, Cloud Backup, Solidfire Baseboard Management Controller and 6 more | 2026-10-14 | 7.5 High |
| sysdeps/i386/ldbl2mpn.c in the GNU C Library (aka glibc or libc6) before 2.23 on x86 targets has a stack-based buffer overflow if the input to any of the printf family of functions is an 80-bit long double with a non-canonical bit pattern, as seen when passing a \x00\x04\x00\x00\x00\x00\x00\x00\x00\x04 value to sprintf. NOTE: the issue does not affect glibc by default in 2016 or later (i.e., 2.23 or later) because of commits made in 2015 for inlining of C99 math functions through use of GCC built-ins. In other words, the reference to 2.23 is intentional despite the mention of "Fixed for glibc 2.33" in the 26649 reference. | ||||

| The GNU C Library (aka glibc or libc6) before 2.32 could overflow an on-stack buffer during range reduction if an input to an 80-bit long double function contains a non-canonical bit pattern, a seen when passing a 0x5d414141414141410000 value to sinl on x86 targets. This is related to sysdeps/ieee754/ldbl-96/e_rem_pio2l.c. | ||||
| CVE-2019-25013 | 6 Broadcom, Debian, Fedoraproject and 3 more | 12 Fabric Operating System, Debian Linux, Fedora and 9 more | 2026-10-14 | 5.9 Medium |
| The iconv feature in the GNU C Library (aka glibc or libc6) through 2.32, when processing invalid multi-byte input sequences in the EUC-KR encoding, may have a buffer over-read. | ||||
| CVE-2019-20907 | 8 Canonical, Debian, Fedoraproject and 5 more | 15 Ubuntu Linux, Debian Linux, Fedora and 12 more | 2026-10-14 | 5.5 Medium |
| In Lib/tarfile.py in Python through 3.8.3, an attacker is able to craft a TAR archive leading to an infinite loop when opened by tarfile.open, because _proc_pax lacks header validation. | ||||

| CVE-2019-19956 | 8 Canonical, Debian, Fedoraproject and 5 more | 15 Ubuntu Linux, Debian Linux, Fedora and 12 more | 2026-10-14 | 7.5 High |
| xmlParseBalancedChunkMemoryRecover in parser.c in libxml2 before 2.9.10 has a memory leak related to newDoc->oldNs. | ||||
| CVE-2019-5188 | 7 Canonical, Debian, E2fsprogs Project and 4 more | 10 Ubuntu Linux, Debian Linux, E2fsprogs and 7 more | 2026-10-14 | 7.5 High |
| A code execution vulnerability exists in the directory rehashing functionality of E2fsprogs e2fsck 1.45.4. A specially crafted ext4 directory can cause an out-of-bounds write on the stack, resulting in code execution. An attacker can corrupt a partition to trigger this vulnerability. | ||||
| CVE-2019-19126 | 5 Canonical, Debian, Fedoraproject and 2 more | 6 Ubuntu Linux, Debian Linux, Fedora and 3 more | 2026-10-14 | 3.3 Low |
| On the x86-64 architecture, the GNU C Library (aka glibc) before 2.31 fails to ignore the LD_PREFER_MAP_32BIT_EXEC environment variable during program execution after a security transition, allowing local attackers to restrict the possible mapping addresses for loaded libraries and thus bypass ASLR for a setuid program. | ||||
| CVE-2019-17498 | 6 Debian, Fedoraproject, Libssh2 and 3 more | 13 Debian Linux, Fedora, Libssh2 and 10 more | 2026-10-14 | 8.1 High |
| In libssh2 v1.9.0 and earlier versions, the SSH_MSG_DISCONNECT logic in packet.c has an integer overflow in a bounds check, enabling an attacker to specify an arbitrary (out-of-bounds) offset for a subsequent memory read. A crafted SSH server may be able to disclose sensitive information or cause a denial of service condition on the client system when a user connects to the server. | ||||
| CVE-2019-16935 | 4 Canonical, Debian, Python and 1 more | 6 Ubuntu Linux, Debian Linux, Python and 3 more | 2026-10-07 | 6.1 Medium |
| The documentation XML-RPC server in Python through 2.7.16, 3.x through 3.6.9, and 3.7.x through 3.7.4 has XSS via the server_title field. This occurs in Lib/DocXMLRPCServer.py in Python 2.x, and in Lib/xmlrpc/server.py in Python 3.x. If set_server_title is called with untrusted input, arbitrary JavaScript can be delivered to clients that visit the http URL for this server. | ||||

| When converting coordinates from projective to affine, the modular inversion was not performed in constant time, resulting in a possible timing-based side channel attack. This vulnerability affects Firefox < 80 and Firefox for Android < 80. | ||||
| CVE-2020-12401 | 2 Mozilla, Redhat | 4 Firefox, Firefox Mobile, Enterprise Linux and 1 more | 2026-08-19 | 4.7 Medium |
| During ECDSA signature generation, padding applied in the nonce designed to ensure constant-time scalar multiplication was removed, resulting in variable-time execution dependent on secret data. This vulnerability affects Firefox < 80 and Firefox for Android < 80. | ||||
| CVE-2020-6829 | 2 Mozilla, Redhat | 4 Firefox, Firefox Mobile, Enterprise Linux and 1 more | 2026-08-19 | 5.3 Medium |
| When performing EC scalar point multiplication, the wNAF point multiplication algorithm was used; which leaked partial information about the nonce used during signature generation. Given an electro-magnetic trace of a few signature generations, the private key could have been computed. This vulnerability affects Firefox < 80 and Firefox for Android < 80. | ||||
| CVE-2020-1971 | 9 Debian, Fedoraproject, Netapp and 6 more | 55 Debian Linux, Fedora, Active Iq Unified Manager and 52 more | 2026-05-29 | 5.9 Medium |
| The X.509 GeneralName type is a generic type for representing different types of names. One of those name types is known as EDIPartyName. OpenSSL provides a function GENERAL_NAME_cmp which compares different instances of a GENERAL_NAME to see if they are equal or not. This function behaves incorrectly when both GENERAL_NAMEs contain an EDIPARTYNAME. A NULL pointer dereference and a crash may occur leading to a possible denial of service attack. OpenSSL itself uses the GENERAL_NAME_cmp function for two purposes: 1) Comparing CRL distribution point names between an available CRL and a CRL distribution point embedded in an X509 certificate 2) When verifying that a timestamp response token signer matches the timestamp authority name (exposed via the API functions TS_RESP_verify_response and TS_RESP_verify_token) If an attacker can control both items being compared then that attacker could trigger a crash. For example if the attacker can trick a client or server into checking a malicious certificate against a malicious CRL then this may occur. Note that some applications automatically download CRLs based on a URL embedded in a certificate. This checking happens prior to the signatures on the certificate and CRL being verified. OpenSSL's s_server, s_client and verify tools have support for the "-crl_download" option which implements automatic CRL downloading and this attack has been demonstrated to work against those tools. Note that an unrelated bug means that affected versions of OpenSSL cannot parse or construct correct encodings of EDIPARTYNAME. However it is possible to construct a malformed EDIPARTYNAME that OpenSSL's parser will accept and hence trigger this attack. All OpenSSL 1.1.1 and 1.0.2 versions are affected by this issue. Other OpenSSL releases are out of support and have not been checked. Fixed in OpenSSL 1.1.1i (Affected 1.1.1-1.1.1h). Fixed in OpenSSL 1.0.2x (Affected 1.0.2-1.0.2w). | ||||
| CVE-2019-5482 | 7 Debian, Fedoraproject, Haxx and 4 more | 24 Debian Linux, Fedora, Curl and 21 more | 2026-04-15 | 9.8 Critical |
| Heap buffer overflow in the TFTP protocol handler in cURL 7.19.4 to 7.65.3. | ||||
| CVE-2019-12749 | 3 Canonical, Freedesktop, Redhat | 5 Ubuntu Linux, Dbus, Enterprise Linux and 2 more | 2026-02-13 | 7.1 High |
| dbus before 1.10.28, 1.12.x before 1.12.16, and 1.13.x before 1.13.12, as used in DBusServer in Canonical Upstart in Ubuntu 14.04 (and in some, less common, uses of dbus-daemon), allows cookie spoofing because of symlink mishandling in the reference implementation of DBUS_COOKIE_SHA1 in the libdbus library. (This only affects the DBUS_COOKIE_SHA1 authentication mechanism.) A malicious client with write access to its own home directory could manipulate a ~/.dbus-keyrings symlink to cause a DBusServer with a different uid to read and write in unintended locations. In the worst case, this could result in the DBusServer reusing a cookie that is known to the malicious client, and treating that cookie as evidence that a subsequent client connection came from an attacker-chosen uid, allowing authentication bypass. | ||||
| CVE-2019-11719 | 2 Mozilla, Redhat | 4 Firefox, Thunderbird, Enterprise Linux and 1 more | 2025-11-25 | N/A |
| When importing a curve25519 private key in PKCS#8format with leading 0x00 bytes, it is possible to trigger an out-of-bounds read in the Network Security Services (NSS) library. This could lead to information disclosure. This vulnerability affects Firefox ESR < 60.8, Firefox < 68, and Thunderbird < 60.8. | ||||
