CVE-2024-9823 3 Eclipse, Netapp, Redhat 5 Jetty, Active Iq Unified Manager, Bootstrap Os and 2 more 2025-07-30 5.3 Medium
There exists a security vulnerability in Jetty's DosFilter which can be exploited by unauthorized users to cause remote denial-of-service (DoS) attack on the server using DosFilter. By repeatedly sending crafted requests, attackers can trigger OutofMemory errors and exhaust the server's memory finally.
CVE-2024-2398 6 Apple, Curl, Fedoraproject and 3 more 27 Macos, Curl, Fedora and 24 more 2025-07-30 8.6 High
When an application tells libcurl it wants to allow HTTP/2 server push, and the amount of received headers for the push surpasses the maximum allowed limit (1000), libcurl aborts the server push. When aborting, libcurl inadvertently does not free all the previously allocated headers and instead leaks the memory. Further, this error condition fails silently and is therefore not easily detected by an application.
CVE-2024-2466 5 Apple, Curl, Haxx and 2 more 14 Macos, Libcurl, Curl and 11 more 2025-07-30 6.5 Medium
libcurl did not check the server certificate of TLS connections done to a host specified as an IP address, when built to use mbedTLS. libcurl would wrongly avoid using the set hostname function when the specified hostname was given as an IP address, therefore completely skipping the certificate check. This affects all uses of TLS protocols (HTTPS, FTPS, IMAPS, POPS3, SMTPS, etc).
CVE-2024-8096 4 Curl, Debian, Haxx and 1 more 16 Curl, Debian Linux, Curl and 13 more 2025-07-30 6.5 Medium
When curl is told to use the Certificate Status Request TLS extension, often referred to as OCSP stapling, to verify that the server certificate is valid, it might fail to detect some OCSP problems and instead wrongly consider the response as fine. If the returned status reports another error than 'revoked' (like for example 'unauthorized') it is not treated as a bad certficate.
CVE-2024-2004 5 Apple, Fedoraproject, Haxx and 2 more 16 Macos, Fedora, Curl and 13 more 2025-07-30 3.5 Low
When a protocol selection parameter option disables all protocols without adding any then the default set of protocols would remain in the allowed set due to an error in the logic for removing protocols. The below command would perform a request to curl.se with a plaintext protocol which has been explicitly disabled. curl --proto -all,-http http://curl.se The flaw is only present if the set of selected protocols disables the entire set of available protocols, in itself a command with no practical use and therefore unlikely to be encountered in real situations. The curl security team has thus assessed this to be low severity bug.
CVE-2024-2379 4 Apple, Haxx, Netapp and 1 more 21 Macos, Curl, Active Iq Unified Manager and 18 more 2025-07-30 6.3 Medium
libcurl skips the certificate verification for a QUIC connection under certain conditions, when built to use wolfSSL. If told to use an unknown/bad cipher or curve, the error path accidentally skips the verification and returns OK, thus ignoring any certificate problems.
CVE-2025-0167 3 Curl, Haxx, Netapp 26 Curl, Curl, Bootstrap Os and 23 more 2025-07-30 3.4 Low
When asked to use a `.netrc` file for credentials **and** to follow HTTP redirects, curl could leak the password used for the first host to the followed-to host under certain circumstances. This flaw only manifests itself if the netrc file has a `default` entry that omits both login and password. A rare circumstance.
CVE-2025-0665 3 Curl, Haxx, Netapp 15 Curl, Libcurl, Curl and 12 more 2025-07-30 9.8 Critical
libcurl would wrongly close the same eventfd file descriptor twice when taking down a connection channel after having completed a threaded name resolve.
CVE-2024-11053 3 Haxx, Netapp, Redhat 20 Curl, Bootstrap Os, H300s and 17 more 2025-07-30 3.4 Low
When asked to both use a `.netrc` file for credentials and to follow HTTP redirects, curl could leak the password used for the first host to the followed-to host under certain circumstances. This flaw only manifests itself if the netrc file has an entry that matches the redirect target hostname but the entry either omits just the password or omits both login and password.
CVE-2024-56337 3 Apache, Netapp, Redhat 4 Tomcat, Bootstrap Os, Hci Compute Node and 1 more 2025-07-15 9.8 Critical
Time-of-check Time-of-use (TOCTOU) Race Condition vulnerability in Apache Tomcat. This issue affects Apache Tomcat: from 11.0.0-M1 through 11.0.1, from 10.1.0-M1 through 10.1.33, from 9.0.0.M1 through 9.0.97. The mitigation for CVE-2024-50379 was incomplete. Users running Tomcat on a case insensitive file system with the default servlet write enabled (readonly initialisation parameter set to the non-default value of false) may need additional configuration to fully mitigate CVE-2024-50379 depending on which version of Java they are using with Tomcat: - running on Java 8 or Java 11: the system property sun.io.useCanonCaches must be explicitly set to false (it defaults to true) - running on Java 17: the system property sun.io.useCanonCaches, if set, must be set to false (it defaults to false) - running on Java 21 onwards: no further configuration is required (the system property and the problematic cache have been removed) Tomcat 11.0.3, 10.1.35 and 9.0.99 onwards will include checks that sun.io.useCanonCaches is set appropriately before allowing the default servlet to be write enabled on a case insensitive file system. Tomcat will also set sun.io.useCanonCaches to false by default where it can.
CVE-2024-54677 3 Apache, Netapp, Redhat 4 Tomcat, Bootstrap Os, Hci Compute Node and 1 more 2025-07-01 5.3 Medium
Uncontrolled Resource Consumption vulnerability in the examples web application provided with Apache Tomcat leads to denial of service. This issue affects Apache Tomcat: from 11.0.0-M1 through 11.0.1, from 10.1.0-M1 through 10.1.33, from 9.0.0.M1 through 9.9.97. Users are recommended to upgrade to version 11.0.2, 10.1.34 or 9.0.98, which fixes the issue.
CVE-2024-50379 3 Apache, Netapp, Redhat 6 Tomcat, Bootstrap Os, Hci Compute Node and 3 more 2025-07-01 9.8 Critical

CVE-2024-32487 4 Debian, Greenwoodsoftware, Netapp and 1 more 11 Debian Linux, Less, Bootstrap Os and 8 more 2025-06-17 8.6 High
less through 653 allows OS command execution via a newline character in the name of a file, because quoting is mishandled in filename.c. Exploitation typically requires use with attacker-controlled file names, such as the files extracted from an untrusted archive. Exploitation also requires the LESSOPEN environment variable, but this is set by default in many common cases.
CVE-2023-29483 5 Dnspython, Eventlet, Fedoraproject and 2 more 9 Dnspython, Eventlet, Fedora and 6 more 2025-06-17 7.0 High
eventlet before 0.35.2, as used in dnspython before 2.6.0, allows remote attackers to interfere with DNS name resolution by quickly sending an invalid packet from the expected IP address and source port, aka a "TuDoor" attack. In other words, dnspython does not have the preferred behavior in which the DNS name resolution algorithm would proceed, within the full time window, in order to wait for a valid packet. NOTE: dnspython 2.6.0 is unusable for a different reason that was addressed in 2.6.1.

CVE-2024-6119 3 Netapp, Openssl, Redhat 34 500f, 500f Firmware, A250 and 31 more 2025-06-03 7.5 High
Issue summary: Applications performing certificate name checks (e.g., TLS clients checking server certificates) may attempt to read an invalid memory address resulting in abnormal termination of the application process. Impact summary: Abnormal termination of an application can a cause a denial of service. Applications performing certificate name checks (e.g., TLS clients checking server certificates) may attempt to read an invalid memory address when comparing the expected name with an `otherName` subject alternative name of an X.509 certificate. This may result in an exception that terminates the application program. Note that basic certificate chain validation (signatures, dates, ...) is not affected, the denial of service can occur only when the application also specifies an expected DNS name, Email address or IP address. TLS servers rarely solicit client certificates, and even when they do, they generally don't perform a name check against a reference identifier (expected identity), but rather extract the presented identity after checking the certificate chain. So TLS servers are generally not affected and the severity of the issue is Moderate. The FIPS modules in 3.3, 3.2, 3.1 and 3.0 are not affected by this issue.
